1. Alishan Hotel
Built during the Japanese colonial period, Alishan Hotel was originally a two-story wooden structure. Later, due to changes in forestry operations and the development of tourism, it was transformed into a six-story reinforced concrete building to accommodate guests. It is not only Taiwan’s highest-altitude resort hotel at 2,200 meters, but also recognized as the highest cultural heritage hotel in the country, and is considered the most upscale accommodation on Alishan.

The hotel boasts rich and premium facilities, along with sweeping views of highland sea of clouds and night skies. With the aroma of Hinoki cypress in the air, the Alishan Hotel offers a nostalgic feel reminiscent of the Japanese colonial era. During cherry blossom season, visitors can also admire the blooming Yoshino cherry blossoms right outside the hotel.

2. Alishange Hotel
Alishange Hotel is one of the top-quality accommodations on Alishan, situated at an altitude of 2,274 meters and is also the most historic hotel in Taiwan’s high mountain region. Located next to Zhuping Station, it provides easy access to Zhushan for sunrise viewing, and also offers scenic walking trails around the Sister Ponds where visitors can enjoy picturesque lake and mountain views.
