Southern Ylang Blossoms on Tainan's Champs-Élysées Drive Have Visitors Flocking for a Pilgrimage!
The Wushantou Reservoir Scenic Area in Tainan has planted thousands of flowers, including yaezakura, southern ylang blossoms, and higanzakura. Since early March, these blooms have gradually come into full flower, painting the reservoir’s scenery with clusters of delicate pink hues. From March 1 to March 29, the Chianan Irrigation Association is also hosting a cherry blossom festival, inviting visitors to come and experience this beautiful sight!

Step into the Wushantou Reservoir in Tainan, and you’ll find pink yaezakura blossoms adorning the branches in the Cherry Blossom Park. Along the Champs-Élysées Drive, nearly a hundred southern ylang trees, each over 80 years old, were personally planted by Yoichi Hatta and his wife. Today, these majestic trees sway gently in the breeze, seemingly waving hello to flower-viewing visitors. The stunning scenery inspires visitors to capture it all through their lenses, eagerly taking photos with the beautiful blossoms.
