1. Kyushu – Kagoshima Sengan-en Store
Located in Kagoshima City, Kyushu, the Sengan-en branch exudes an isolated and timeless atmosphere. It is the third Starbucks store to revitalize a national tangible cultural property. This site was formerly the “Old Sengan Ironworks of the Shimazu Family,” owned by the Shimazu clan, rulers of the Satsuma Domain, and was built in 1904.

2. Kobe – Kitano Foreigners' Houses Store
The Starbucks Kobe Kitano Foreigners' Houses Store is located in one of the Western-style buildings in the Kitano Foreigners' Houses area. This two-story wooden structure was built in 1907 by Americans and is filled with exotic and historical charm. It is the first Starbucks in Japan to be established within a tangible cultural heritage site.
