Yoo Jae-suk endorses fried chicken! Korea’s must-try NENE Chicken is coming to Taiwan

Korean pop culture is sweeping the globe, and K-dramas have also popularized the trend of pairing Korean fried chicken with beer. NENE Chicken, endorsed by Korea’s super-popular national MC Yoo Jae-suk, is set to open in a back alley behind Taipei’s Breeze Plaza, offering yet another great choice for those craving authentic Korean-style fried chicken.

NENE Fried Chicken comes in a variety of flavors including original, cream, sweet and sour, spicy sauce, and onion. Both the cheese and the chicken sauce are imported directly from Korea, coating crispy, tender chicken in tangy, sweet sauces. In addition to the regular “Half Half” flavors, NENE Fried Chicken has also launched a “Half Half Half” option, allowing you to choose three flavors and enjoy multiple tastes in one bite.

NENE Fried Chicken has already set up a Facebook fan page, though no opening announcement has been made yet. However, the store sign has already gone up in a back alley behind Taipei’s Breeze Plaza, with an official opening expected soon. Aside from Korean cuisine, the area around Breeze Plaza also hides a variety of international dining options, such as Thai restaurant Lemongrass Kitchen, American diner Stan & Cat, and Italian eatery Bottega.
