A ski resort super close to Taiwan – Club Med Beidahu officially opens in a snowy wonderland

The all-inclusive resort chain Club Med (Mediterranée)in China's Beidahuhas officially opened its new ski resort today (the 9th), making it the second ski resort in China after Yabuli. A grand dinner was held during the opening ceremony of Club Med Beidahu, where the resort’s G.Os prepared exciting performances for the distinguished guests, marking an outstanding start for Club Med Beidahu.

Club Med is a globally renowned premium all-inclusive resort brand, and its ski resorts are especially popular among travelers worldwide. By establishing this new winter resort in Beidahu — the birthplace of winter sports in China — Club Med offers a destination just 1.5 hours’ drive from Changchun Longjia International Airport, with convenient access to nearby South Korea, Taiwan, and other Northeast Asian countries. In addition, Club Med Beidahu boasts 19 top-tier professional ski runs, freestyle ski jumps, and off-piste trails. The resort also partners with the world-renowned French National Ski School (ESF), providing internationally accredited ski lessons that cater to everyone from beginners to seasoned pros.

At the opening ceremony, Qian Jiannong, Vice President of Fosun Group (Club Med’s parent company), Henri Giscard d'Estaing, Global President of Club Med, and Gino Andreetta, CEO of Club Med Greater China, were present to inaugurate Club Med Beidahu. CEO Gino expressed his hope to bring to all visitors the joyful philosophy of Club Med’s founder, Belgian anthropologist Gérard Blitz: “The ultimate purpose of life is happiness; the time to seek happiness is now, and the place to find it is here.” He also aims to introduce the popular European winter skiing culture to Asia.

Club Med’s unique G.O (Gentle Organizer) team prepared spectacular entertainment during the dinner, ranging from song and dance performances and celebrity impersonations to dance-along parties that energized the entire resort. After the opening, this talented G.O team will continue to deliver diverse and surprising performances for guests, ensuring that even after a day on the slopes, visitors can enjoy the vibrant nightlife at the resort.
