Looks like this realistic ghost mask is about to make our leader Fatty cry, haha... But today’s focus isn’t ghosts. It’s that Fatty Ma found a super cool and fun APP—once you download it, guaranteed—andOh, hahaha. This is perfect for someone like me, the clueless one. What’s this amazing app? Come on, let’s check it out!!
Fatty Ma loves food and drinks normally, and especially now that she’s back in Taiwan, this treasure island, how could she miss the chance? But unfortunately, in Taipei, this so-called “heavenly capital,” everything costs $$$. Sometimes even a small snack is crazy expensive, making us ordinary housewives think twice before buying. But maybe even the heavens heard my clueless voice, because last week I stumbled upon this super fun APP—Thinking about all the free experiences, tastings, and activities, Fatty Ma immediately whipped out her phone to scan the QR code and download the app.
That day, there was an event where just downloading the app and logging in with FB earned you free points, plus you could join the lucky draw tasks on the app’s mission wall to win “mystery points”—Fatty Ma got 20 points. The max is 50 points, and there were even Warner Bros. micro-show movie tickets. Pfft, isn’t that too good? XD (But I didn’t get them, so bitter~~~)
That day, there was also a “Yokai Village Parade” event—it was super lively. After launching the app, Fatty Ma was ready to take on a mission too!!!
Then, while Fatty Ma was scanning for points, our fatty leader had her lips pouted to the max and then burst into tears XD Fatty: What is this thing? Why is the face so white and long... wah... it’s not mommy, not mommy... (complete meltdown)
I had to quickly drag the fatty away from that terrifying little Halloween ghost...
Later, I saw the Check Me mission wall featured an event at “Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store” with 1,100 points up for grabs. Thinking that we were already here, I figured why not check out what activities I could do to earn points. The first thing that caught the coffee-loving Fatty Ma’s eye was—on the mission wall.
It just so happened to save Fatty Ma, who usually spends over a hundred bucks on a Starbucks drink every afternoon just to feel fancy, a little bit of money. Pfft... and I could also get free points. Not bad, come on, follow me! The Nescafé booth is located at A9 on the fourth floor.
After showing the cashier the app activity, she asked me to pick a drink from the selection for a tasting.
Somehow, even though I really wanted an iced Americano, I ended up ordering iced peach tea. XD And then while—the cashier was making my peach tea, she asked me to fill out some info and scan the product barcode to get—(I guess all tasting customers have to fill out a form. I don’t know why either)
This machine—is the nickname I gave to the Nescafé coffee machine. Look how round and red it is. It totally looks like a helmet!!
And when I took a sip, I almost screamed... because it was super. delicious. der!!!!!!!
I didn’t expect much from it at first, but now I might just want to take one home XD
Once the task was done, the app checked it off on the mission wall, meaning the task was complete and the points were claimed. Look, in no time at all, I’ve already accumulated 625 points!!!
After finishing with Nescafé, Fatty Ma spotted another activity on the—app to visit—and earn—. So without hesitation, I headed straight to the supermarket on A11’s lower floor. After finding the product, I opened the—app and scanned it right away to get points.
Ding ding, look, look—effortlessly earned—Yay. So fun, so fun.
Now that we're already on the B2 floor, Pangma thought, why not see what other store activities there are? As a result, I spotted another task right on the same floor—* They have tasks too? That's so fun. Come on, follow Panga quickly~
Eh… no way?! Just by visiting Old Zhen Nan, I can earn 150 points at once, get free samples, and even earn more points. Is this app some kind of charity organization?! Ah, but for someone like me, an auntie, how could I miss a chance to get free food?
See? I’m really acting like an auntie, seriously hunting down tasks to complete (Pangba: Oh, you just love eating =.=)
After finding the task details, I showed them to the counter staff. Then, a plate of fragrant sample pastries appeared in front of me.
Even Pangpang got to eat and drink with Mom. Gosh… gosh… can you please launch this app in the U.S. too?! I want to eat and drink like this in America too XD
Look at us, this mother-daughter duo scamming food and drinks (not really), boldly enjoying snacks by the counter. Innocent bystanders might think we’re some big shots. Little do they know it’s all thanks to— The app. It’s all completely free~~~
In between, I even helped clean up the messy cart of our “Pang Leader” because he’d scattered all over it with pineapple cake crumbs =.=
After sampling, the counter staff handed me a small card with a barcode to scan for points —> Seriously, free food AND free points. Why aren’t you downloading it yet XD
Once the task is completed, the app automatically marks the task page as done, showing you’ve completed it. Up!!
Ps. At the Old Zhen Nan counter, there’s also an event where if you spend 500 NT or more, you can scan the electronic receipt barcode to get 500 points. But you know Panga just went for—Free eating and drinking (huge misunderstanding)On her route, so she didn’t take on this task. Up!!
After snacking and sipping around on B2, Panga vaguely remembered seeing an SK-II event on the cosmetics floor on the 1st floor. The highlight? Just walking up to the SK-II counter earns you points. What regret… could it be this simple?
So I immediately selectedThis activity.
And, without exaggeration, even though I was still super far from the SK-II counter, my phone had already detected it and I earned—The points. Are you kidding me?! This is too exciting!!!!
I originally wanted to go further and select– Eh, they offer a free skin analysis and you can also earn points. Who wouldn’t go for that?! But unfortunately, their machine is currently under maintenance (I was at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A11), but the counter staff was really nice and kept apologizing. She said she’d keep my info and help me book an appointment as soon as the machine is fixed. Isn’t that great!!
Below are the rewards mentioned at the very beginning of the article—you know, all this scamming food and drinks (huge exaggeration) is actually to accumulate points. And accumulating points is so you can exchange them for awesome gifts like these!!! Isn’t that wild?! The points can be redeemed for amazing gifts, from the ultra-premium RIMOWA suitcases that Panga totally wants, to little afternoon tea snacks you can usually get, and the best part is—they’re all free. All earned while Panga eats, plays, drinks, checks in, scans, and redeems points.
After Panga easily completed the tasks, what should she exchange the points for? Since the beloved RIMOWA is still way out of reach,
How about exchanging for Mister Donut, something Pangpang loves (Wow… that’s quite the leap XD)
First, go intothe page wall
Then press “Redeem Now,” and a “Redemption Code” will appear… then you can get your donuts.
Look, Pangpang can’t wait to eat the donuts. Up.
Just show the CheckMe app’s redemption page to the cashier, and you can get one delicious donut of your choice.
Look look... Today we did all of this for free. Even the donuts that Pàngpang loves the most... All free!!!!!!!
Later, one day when Pàngmá went out and was on the way home, she passed by Japan Pharmacy, and didn’t expect there was also a CheckMe event there. But that day, Pàngpang was a bit hyper. So she just went in to collect some points and then hurriedly took Pàngpang home.
That day, with just a quick glance, there were so many Japanese gadgets—it looks like next time I’ll have to find some time to really go and explore. And also accumulate some CheckMe points... (fist clenched!!!)
Phew, Pàngmá has finally finished organizing for everyone what I think is a super worthwhile mobile app to download—CheckMe. And I’ve carefully sorted out the usage methods and rules for everyone, so you can know how to use it. Using the APP while going out shopping lets you collect points everywhere and exchange them for great gifts, plus there are so many exclusive deals. It allows moms to take their kids out and together they can eat, drink, play, and collect everywhere. Most importantly, you can also exchange points for vouchers or products. Isn’t that convenient!!! In the end, Pàngmá wants to secretly share an invite code with everyone:
As long as you download and use the APP, then enter thiscode, you can immediately get. You might be thinking—huh?! That little??... Eh, I’m not done yet. As long as you keep giving this verification code to other friends, and they also enterthe code, then you can getunlimited times. Your friends get 50 points each, and so on... So can you imagine how quickly you can accumulate points this way... pfft... In that case, getting your RIMOWA isn’t far off, right? Hahahahaha.
CheckMe APP Event Update

Time: Starting November 1
Alright, Pàngmá has shared everything openly like this with everyone. Then whether you can grab opportunities like me to eat, drink, and play for free—well, that depends on whether you seize the chance. Maybe one day we’ll all bump into each other somewhere with CheckMe, right?! Finally, as usual, here’s a photo of Pàngpang eating and drinking with mom to say good night Up (pfft, although it's a bit blurry XD) Hope you all enjoy my sharing~
