Ring in the New Year differently this year—host a party in a five-star luxury lobby

As the countdown to the New Year begins, how about doing something different this year? Taipei Grand Hyatt Hotel, located near Taipei 101 and offering the best views of the New Year’s Eve fireworks, is hosting its first-ever large-scale 600-person countdown party in its three-story-high grand lobby. From 10:00 PM on December 31 to 1:00 AM on January 1, the hotel presents the “2017 Midnight Madness” New Year’s Eve countdown party.

The hotel has transformed its lobby into a massive nightclub dance floor, with the central fountain area turned into an all-you-can-drink bar zone. There will also be sizzling hot dance performances and EDM DJ shows, turning the lobby into a central dance floor for everyone to party the night away. The venue will also feature food stalls offering light bites such as truffle popcorn, German sausages, Southern fried chicken, and corn chips. A series of exciting interactive performance shows will also be staged to liven up the atmosphere, inviting guests to countdown together and welcome the wonderful year of 2017.

Tickets for the “2017 Midnight Madness” New Year’s Eve countdown party are required for entry, priced at NT$1,680 per person, which includes unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Early bird tickets purchased before December 20 are available at a discounted price of NT$1,480 per person. Members of the Gourmet Card, Oasis Fitness Center, hotel guests, or those presenting a dinner receipt from an on-site restaurant on the evening of the event can also enjoy the discounted price of NT$1,480 per person.
