Costa Rica Boeing 727 Plane Suite – Sloths and Toucans Visible from the Window

Most people wouldn’t want to spend the night on a plane unless they had no other choice. But in Central America, there’s a hotel suite made from a retired airplane where guests can spend the night inside the aircraft — a truly unique experience.

According to Lonely Planet,this room built around the skeleton of a 727 is located in Hotel Costa Verde, situated between Santa Rosa National Park and the Pacific Ocean. After careful restoration, it features two suites. The highlight is that the fuselage has been ingeniously installed in the forest, offering not just the cabin space but also delightful surprises surrounded by nature. If you’re lucky, you might spot sloths as well as other wildlife.

As for the price, it’s not exactly cheap — around NT$7,000 per night during the off-season and a minimum of NT$15,000 during peak season.
