Outdoor sports
During outdoor activities, the body consumes a lot of energy, which needs to be replenished, requiring a significant amount of oxygen. Breathing large amounts of air directly through the mouth is an unhealthy way to breathe. Unrestricted deep breathing can deplete the body’s oxygen supply, dry out the mouth and throat, and even cause brain hypoxia.
Whether engaging in high-intensity exercise or taking a walk, the best and most relaxing way to breathe is through the nose. The nasal cavity has a natural air filtration system that can effectively block many air pollution particles. Inhale deeply and evenly through the nose at a slow pace, then exhale slowly and forcefully, maintaining a breath-hold of about five seconds between inhalation and exhalation.
