The color games never end—after trying colored water, clay, and homemade paint, this time Bobo and mom made finger paint together.
The idea for the colorful dots comes from this adorable book, the latest work by Hervé Tullet, the author of “Press Here,” titled “Colorful Dots.”
1. Flour 75ml / Water 50ml / Xi 30ml (ratio can be adjusted as needed to achieve desired consistency).
2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly to create the white base for the finger paint.
3. Divide the white base into an ice cube tray, then add food coloring separately to create your desired colors. Done.

This time I accidentally added too much blue, and instead of getting purple, it turned black >”<
The finger paint we made ourselves has such beautiful colors!! (Still taking photos when Bobo couldn’t help but dip his fingers in)
At first, we played very carefully, using our fingertips with Bobo’s mom to make beautiful colorful dots.
Once warmed up, we started making our fingers “walk” and “dance” on the paper~ (and humming along the way)
Bobo: Mom, look at the road I drew!! (By this point, the colors of the finger paint had already been mixed into a black mess)
Smooshing and smearing~ b shouting ♀ said: “Keep playing with the remaining colors/p>
Patting and patting~ slapping and slapping~ (the singing still didn’t stop…)
We’ve entered the realm of art master Picasso~~ (the top right corner is a rose drawn by Bobo with his finger!! So pretty!!) (Though I called it a rose, Bobo was just drawing circles XD)
All ten fingers got involved. The consistency of the finger paint we made this time was really just perfect—you could dip, dot, and smear it super smoothly.
Bobo: Ahhh—why is my hand black!? (No exaggeration, during play he voluntarily asked to wash his hands four times, but after each time, he wanted to keep playing)
It’s really time to end—but whether out of reluctance or just having too much fun, this kid actually ran around the table while singing, round and round. He only stopped after getting dizzy and falling over… (Is this some mysterious religious ritual?)
