With Yilan’s beautiful mountains, waters, and scenery, it’s a place you’ll want to visit again and again... Many well-known hot spring hotels are concentrated in Jiaoxi Town, while the Yongtai Group invested NT$5.463 billion to build the only five-star international resort hotel with hot springs in Luodong. Opened in 2017, it stands 24 floors above ground and 4 below, with a majestic presence that changes Yilan’s skyline and has become Luodong’s newest landmark!

Full of filial piety, in gratitude to our parents![Luodong Cunque International Hotel]The name originates from the chairman taking one character from the names of his two parents as an homage!Cunand Que
were incorporated into the hotel’s name—a heartwarming gesture of filial devotion!“Spending money to be there” is not as good as “being there with heart”
Modern families have fewer children, and parents often only think about how to make their kids outstanding, yet neglect teaching them filial piety. It’s truly regrettable when news reports tell of accomplished individuals who turn their backs on family. If we can put more heart into being with our parents in everyday life and maintain close interactions, it will be worth more than anything. Instead of just teaching kids about filial piety, teach them how to love. Through this trip, sharing this little story may also plant a good seed in the child’s heart! One night with two meals – Buy big, gift small $5,9995No extra charge during school holidays,8and no extra charge on Saturdays in

Chunque International Hot Spring Hotel
Address:No. 190, Zhandong Road, Luodong Township, Yilan County, 265
Telephone:TEL: 04-22527878
Towering behind Luodong Railway Station, the ultra-luxury “Chunque International Hot Spring Hotel” is an awe-inspiring sight from afar. Situated directly behind the tracks, you can enjoy an uninterrupted view of passing trains all day long.
The hotel was exclusively designed by a renowned Taiwanese interior designer. Its symmetrical double-Y façade, styled like a luxury mansion, allows every space to feature large windows that offer diverse perspectives and heights. Covering 3,000 ping (approximately 9,900 m²), standing 24 stories tall, and housing 453 luxurious hot spring rooms, its visibility and prestige are unmistakable from anywhere.
After crossing the level crossing, you’ll see the hotel rise up ahead. To your right as you face the hotel is a ground-level parking lot with four basement levels — “free parking for guests”!
With nearly 600 parking spaces and 24-hour full surveillance, your vehicle can stay safe and sound.
Upon exiting the car, you’ll enjoy VIP elevator service (sneak peek!), with the first floor pre-selected for you.
Remember, this elevator does not go directly to all floors—you’ll need to switch to the main lobby elevator to reach your room.
Additionally, the hotel operates three shuttle buses. This one is quite the premium ride (you can actually use it!) — it gives you that warm, “you’re home” feeling right away.
Thoughtful Services:Shuttle bus service from Luodong Back Station to the hotel is available. Please book in advance at the front desk: Tel: 03-905-7988#9
Backed by a well-established Taiwanese construction company, the hotel reflects its vision in both the bold architectural layout and meticulous operational details. Upon entering the lobby, you’re greeted with fashionable design, grand proportions, and the refined elegance unique to a five-star establishment.
The hotel’s concept revolves around three core visions: promoting “local culture,” preserving “natural resources,” and boosting “tourism and leisure.” The luxurious design embodies a blend of wood, metal, and stone materials, with warm-toned lighting and artwork featuring local Yilan landscapes integrated throughout the interiors.
The room key, uniquely designed with the hotel’s exterior motif, also displays the WIFI password.
The elevator is dazzling under glittering, crystal-like lights — an elegant yet opulent statement.
Past this area is the back hall, flanked by restaurants where breakfast is served.
Behind you, a gently flowing water wall complements lush green landscaping, instantly washing away any fatigue.
Our family couldn’t wait to get to our room. As soon as the elevator doors opened, we were greeted by the beautiful scenery of Luodong — the weather was perfect, and we even caught a glimpse of Guishan Island. It was truly breathtaking.
Attentive housekeeping staff will gather and deliver your luggage to your room via trolley.

The small snacks in the living room are all edible. The kids immediately sat by the window, poured their drinks, and happily enjoyed afternoon tea.
The room has a small balcony where you can chat with your family. This hotel is the tallest building in Luodong, truly making the scenery the star of the space.
The view from high up is indeed fantastic. From different angles, you can faintly see the distant mountains and sea. Of course, if you’re lucky enough to get a room facing the sea, you might even catch a glimpse of Guishan Island in the distance. (Our room just happened to face the sea, and the weather was nice that day—though the clouds were a bit thick, the view was still quite clear!)
Whether it’s a daytime or nighttime view, whether you want to greet the morning light or wait for the sunset, every room here allows you to enjoy the lake and mountain scenery through the floor-to-ceiling windows. It really helps free your mind and ease your worries after being cooped up in the city for so long.
A movable wooden partition door divides the room into two usage areas. The bathroom is split into three sections, designed with full dry and wet separation. Thoughtfully, the toilet and shower area are separated. Another area with a better view features the famous double soaking tubs. The bathroom amenities are from the well-known brand "Shang Shan Cai Yao."
In the past, hot springs were only available in Jiaoxi, but now Luodong's Village has made it happen too.
Each guest room is designed with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views and features a unique double hot spring tub setup.
The scenic windows allow you to take in the breathtaking views from the high floors while soaking, giving parents complete relaxation for the mind, body, and soul.
Soaking in the hot springs connects you to the earth. Village uses......post-hot spring 'sodium bicarbonate beauty springs.'The hotel environment is pure and unpolluted. Sodium bicarbonate springs are among the finest of hot springs—clear in color, odorless, with a pH of around 7. After soaking, your skin feels smooth and silky.
Paired with......the 'noble' nano milk bath, which uses wellness bathing technology. Through patented nano technology, water molecules collide and create up to 1.2 billion ultra-fine bubbles per minute. With a press of a button, it perfectly blends the energy in the air with minerals in the water, delivering a silky, smooth sensation akin to a luxurious milk bath.
The weather was great, so we headed to the fifth-floor VIP Club, which includes a kids’ club, outdoor pool, spa, men’s and women’s hot springs, and a mixed-gender hot spring area.
On either side of the counter, there are separate play areas for children—the left side for toddlers and the right for older kids.
Operating hours: 7:00 AM–11:00 PM
The kids’ area has large building blocks to play with. Climbing up and down is a great way to burn off energy. The kids have fun, and parents can relax while watching from outside.
Next to the counter, there’s a rest area for parents, along with picture books and children’s books for all ages. Board games are available for borrowing, and parent-child games help strengthen bonds.
The toddler area includes small ride-on cars, a crawling zone, and a slide. Don’t worry if your baby has nowhere to go—kids who love LEGO or building blocks can also get creative on the LEGO wall panels. Once they sit down to play, you won’t be able to pull them away. Let them fully expend their energy; it makes bedtime much easier.
The sunny outdoor pool is definitely worth a swim—it feels like you’ve teleported abroad for a moment.
When visiting Luodong Village in the summer, bring swimsuits and swimming gear, and ideally, a "water gun warrior" to join in the fun. Summer is perfect for water gun battles.
Operating hours: 7:00 AM–6:30 PM
Before entering, please register your room number at the counter. Since the men’s and women’s areas are separate, you’ll receive electronic wristbands accordingly. Personal items can be stored in electronic lockers. Mineral water is available for free, and each room receives large towels based on the number of guests—no need to carry towels down from your room or bring your own, saving you from lugging around all those bags (mom’s shoulders will thank you!).
Little tips from an overthinker:
&f We changed into our swimsuits in the room and came down directly.
&f The slippers in the room can be worn downstairs. If they get wet, replacements are provided.
If you forget your swimsuit, you can buy one at the shop. Swim rings are also available for free rental from the counter—just remember to return them so the next little guest can enjoy them too.
Wow, this is also the Twin Pools here! We've actually included photos of both the shallow and deep pools.Whether you're a big kid or a little one, everyone can have a blast.
There are different types of floaties: ones like those in the shallow pool area that are sit-on style (with two holes), perfect for little kids; another type is the borrow-style floaties, similar to what you get at Xiao Jipao’s place.
Model demonstration::
For toddlers about 85-100 cm tall (shallow pool up to their little bottoms)
For first graders around 120 cm (shallow pool up to just below the knees; deep pool up to the neck)
For fifth graders around 141 cm (deep pool up to the chest)
Under the warm sun, adults can either sit or lie by the pool. To beautify the surroundings, the poolside area is planted with flowers, trees, and greenery, creating a lush garden-like atmosphere. With a gentle breeze, you can immerse yourself in nature. Dads can unwind their tired bodies, while moms, of course, are hereto take beautiful photos to post online—hahaha!Watching the kids play non-stop and hear them talk excitedly about it just lifts your spirits too!
This photo was taken by Xiao Jipao from the room—our room is right above the pool, and there are even flower petal designs in the water.
The hot spring area is divided into men’s and women’s baths as well as a mixed bathing area. Once inside, there’s a washing area where you can blow-dry your hair. Mineral water is available for you to refill anytime, and you can freely exchange slippers for new ones. Amenities like combs and shower caps are also provided.
There are washrooms and toilets. After changing swimsuits or soaking in the hot springs, you can use lotion to moisturize. There’s also a relaxation room where you can rest a bit after the warm soak. The outdoor area is great for a relaxing stroll too.
Friendly reminder: remember to put used towels in the recycling bin. Let’s all do our part to keep the shared space clean for the next person’s comfort.
After eating and drinking your fill, if parents want to work out or maintain daily exercise, there’s a gym where you can sweat it out while watching TV dramas.
Opening hours: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
The first floor has an information zone equipped with Apple devices. If you want to borrow them, just register at the front desk to get the password and keyboard/mouse!
After playing hard on the fifth floor, don’t miss out on the rich dinner included for the evening. The hotel provides either a buffet or set meals depending on the number of guests staying.
(Attached is a photo of the open kitchen buffet restaurant that night—it was all-you-can-eat with high-quality ingredients!)
Japanese cold dish section. Being by the sea in Yilan, you can enjoy freshly caught seafood and top-quality ingredients—truly a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.
Besides seafood, Xiao Jipao even got to try roast suckling pig for the first time here—a signature dish you shouldn’t miss!
So much meat, it’s mouthwatering just to look at.
And definitely try the original grilled beef and lamb chops in this section too (the wild boar rice balls are wrapped in lotus leaves, offering a unique flavor)!
They say dessert calls for a whole other stomach—and they’re right. After the hearty meal, be sure to enjoy the various sweets under the bread wall. Totally worth the calories!
Each delicate dessert is made by pastry chefs with five-star hotel experience. Each piece is meant for a small bite, which makes it hard to stop taking more!
Macarons, cream puffs, éclairs, cheese cake, mini puddings, strawberry mousse...
Look how happy Xiao Jipao’s mommy is eating—grandma, mom, and child, all completely satisfied.
Finally, end this hearty meal with ice cream from a well-known brand and some fresh fruit.
After a good meal, why not take a stroll around Luodong Night Market? Up! Just a 13-minute walk from the hotel, you can eat, shop, and explore along the way!
Visitors love the local specialties here—affordable clothing and shoe stores line the streets, and snack shops are packed closely together. Popular bites include Sanxing green onion buns, dragon-phoenix legs, mutton soup, scallion pancakes, filled tapioca balls... and more. It gets even livelier as the night goes on!
As night falls and the lights come on, you can clearly see Highway No. 5 from the window, shimmering like a beautiful Milky Way. The room features two private hot springs—one per room. Soaking at night offers a completely different view than in the daytime. The countryside offers a view opposite to the city’s, and the night scenery is truly breathtaking—like a beautiful painting. Neon lights on the roads twinkle brightly, illuminating the whole city in vibrant colors. Sharing the hot spring experience with grandparents and kids is another kind of joy.
While the kids and hubby were asleep after their soak, Little Busybody took Mom out for a little walk and some photos. First stop: the R Building (rooftop) for pictures. It’s almost a 360-degree open-air sky terrace where you can overlook all of Luodong!
Rooftop sky bar
The hotel also has a bar on the 24th floor—the highest level—which is Yilan’s first high-altitude sky bar. If you want to enjoy a view of Luodong’s cityscape from above, come check it out.
Streetlights flicker in the light, like flocks of pure white little moths!
Next comes mother-daughter time, Up! We changed into swimsuits, grabbed the bathrobes provided by the hotel, and headed straight to the fifth floor for a nighttime spa soak!
Inside, the men’s and women’s public pools are separate, and there are also naked soaking areas and a spa zone.
Opening hours: 7:00 AM ~ 11:00 PM
The nano milk bath wasn’t enough in the room, so of course we came back down to soak again, Up!
Mom and daughter both became glowing and gorgeous—together, how wonderful~
Mom said she hadn’t enjoyed something like this in a long time, and there was no need to worry about time limits like usual, when everything feels rushed. Tonight, we chatted happily and had so much fun. Being with family isn’t about how much money you spend, but about “genuine companionship.”
Especially as a daughter who’s married, I rarely get to go back home. Moments like this, being so close with Mom, don’t happen often. Bringing her to stay at a nice hotel, enjoy great food, and showing a little filial piety—it really made Mom happy. Judging by her smile all day, Little Busybody really felt it was worth every penny!
I’m so satisfied after the soak! Hope everyone can cherish every moment spent with family.
A revitalizing breakfast full of energy—this package includes breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children!
Opening hours: 06:30 - 10:00
The restaurant is divided into two halls: Yueheng and Rif.
It has a Y-shaped layout and exudes luxury and grandeur.
There’s plenty of seating, and the high-ceilinged design combined with elegant lighting creates an excellent ambiance while you dine.
Breakfast is served buffet-style. Ingredients are sourced in collaboration with various farmer’s associations in Yilan—even the health soy milk is co-produced with a local farmer’s association in Luodong. The kids couldn’t stop drinking them!
Wooden kids’ chairs are also provided, allowing young children to dine safely.
The steamed food section and hot dishes area cater to those who love traditional Chinese breakfasts. The side dishes can be ordered and cooked on the spot, and they’re refreshed daily. The speed of replenishment is quick, and both the chefs and managers patrol the area regularly, attentive to guests’ needs. When Little Busybody dropped a fork, the manager immediately had someone replace it—a level of thoughtful service and efficiency that’s top-notch.
Exclusive “Mini Burger DIY Zone”
Here, kids can become little chefs in the morning. After lining up and putting on gloves, they can assemble their own burgers, picking their favorite fillings. Wow, once they make it, they eat it right away. Everyone should try it!
Cheese platter section—don’t miss the wide variety of cheeses, especially the huge one still aging in the upper right corner!
Self-service bakery bread section
Offers a variety of toast and handmade bread, paired with the hotel’s homemade spreads. After going through the oven, Little Busybody couldn’t stop eating slice after slice!
The hotel is designed using seven green building principles: base water retention, green coverage, waste reduction, sewage and garbage improvement, daily energy saving, water resource management, and indoor environment. Greenery abounds everywhere. Those who love outdoor spaces can pour themselves a cup of coffee, sit in the sunshine, and put a perfect ending to their trip.
Check-out time is 12:00 PM, giving guests plenty of unhurried time to fully enjoy all the facilities. This place is perfect for anyone who just wants to relax and enjoy a lazy holiday without going anywhere.
Bring your parents along now—let’s go together!
