Campus Café Transforms into a Container Restaurant!“This Dish” Is an Exclusive at the Xinyi Branch

Located next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A9 in Xinyi District, in the former site of Chunghsin Building, “COMMUNE A7” is set to launch a trial operation on the 16th, just in time for Christmas. This new restaurant market, built with shipping containers, will feature a variety of cuisines including American, European, and Hong Kong-style. Among them, many eateries will offer limited-edition dishes, such as Campus Café’s exclusive seared snowflake beef salad with Italian balsamic vinaigrette sauce.

Campus Café, popular among younger crowds and with multiple branches across Taiwan, has now opened a container-converted Xinyi branch in the square of COMMUNE A7. In addition to a full lineup of signature menu items, it offers a dish available only at this location—the seared snowflake beef salad with Italian balsamic vinaigrette sauce.

The chef explained that the highlight of this dish is not only the use of American snowflake beef for the steak, but also a specially prepared sauce. “It has a subtle hint of honey, which pairs very smoothly with the beef.” Additionally, it includes cashews, walnuts, and crispy corn chips, offering a refreshing crunch. The vegetable elements consist of tomatoes, cucumbers, and broccoli, providing a richly layered texture. The dish is currently priced at NT$260.

It is reported that this is the only salad on the Campus Café menu that uses a whole piece of beef. The chef said, “All the other salads basically use chicken, or else smoked beef.” He also hinted that this dish may become available at other branches in the future, but for now, it remains exclusive to this location.
