There are so many visitor factories in Chiayi~ And I’ve been to the White People Toothpaste Visitor Factory in Taibao several times. Every time I come, I always end up buying toothpaste and toothbrushes to take back. Aside from these daily essentials that we all need at home, it’s mainly because Grandpa Penguin is a loyal fan. Every time he hears that I’m going to Chiayi, he insists that I bring back some White People Toothpaste. Moreover, there’s a very unique General’s Mansion inside the White People Toothpaste Visitor Factory—it’s definitely worth a visit~

White People Toothpaste is Taiwan’s only toothpaste visitor factory. We use toothpaste every day—have you ever wondered how it’s made? Especially for little penguins who are just learning to brush their teeth~ Bringing them to visit a toothpaste visitor factory is really both educational and fun.[Family Travel]Chiayi White People Toothpaste Visitor FactoryWhen you come to the White People Toothpaste Visitor Factory, you must check out the production line!! But the production line is closed on weekends, so you can only see it in operation on weekdays. Just follow the tour route and you’ll get a good understanding of how toothpaste is made!! When visiting the White People Toothpaste Factory, you’ll usually start in the briefing room to watch a video. In winter, there are square crackers outside the briefing room, and in summer, there are red bean powder | kan? zhou? na? xiao? de? xiao? mi? cai? meng? suo? ling? wei? de? jia? xian? shang? you? xu? duo? lei? xing? de? chan? pin?,? zhe? xie? dou? shi? zhi? yu? xiang? guan? de? zhi? shi?,? rang? ren? men? jiao? ao? de? zhi? dao? ya? tong? qi? lai? zhen? de? shi? yao? ren? ming? a,? xiao? peng? uin? zui? jin? cai? yin? wei? ya? tong? er? qu? chou? shen? jing? ne!!? I’ve been to the White People Toothpaste Visitor Factory so many times, but this is the first time I’ve seen the production line!! The equipment inside is not something you’d normally get to see. White People Toothpaste actually has a very high market share in Taiwan. In the early days, they mostly exported and didn’t advertise, so I always thought other brands of toothpaste were better. But later, when I stayed at homestays often, I found that most of their toothpaste was White People Toothpaste. And after listening to the briefing and seeing the process, I realized that White People Toothpaste is entirely Made in Taiwan, and even manufactures for other brands. Because they have one of only two tube-making machines in Taiwan, whether it’s for adults, kids, or even the small tubes for homestays—they’re all made right here in their factory~ And another big highlight of the White People Toothpaste Visitor Factory that you must come see is the General’s Mansion. This General’s Mansion was actually relocated to Taiwan brick by brick from the real residence of Qing Dynasty General Jin Deheng in China. During the dismantling process, everything was marked, and after being transported to Taiwan, it was reassembled exactly according to the numbers. You don’t have to go all the way to China to see historical sites anymore!! You can see them right here in Taiwan~ And their grandeur is no less impressive than what you see on TV!! I’ve been watching a lot of period dramas lately, so I really get a feel for this setting~ I can’t help but immerse myself in the scenes. At the General’s Mansion, you can get up close to Qing Dynasty architecture. The furnishings you’d only see on TV are all here in the General’s Mansion. These chairs and screens are so majestic!! It feels like you could sit down and command thousands. There’s even a bridal sedan chair~ It’s so small—people must have been really petite back then. The introduction to the General’s Mansion: The general is a real historical figure, not made up. This kind of chair feels like you’d only see it on TV~ So classic and traditional, and the carvings are all very intricate—truly worthy of a general’s residence!! Other bedrooms and kitchens are pretty similar to what you’d see in ordinary homes, but the furniture is all exquisitely carved and very luxurious. There are also some ancient-style scenes and shops, making you feel like you’ve stepped right into the past—even terracotta warriors show up!! There’s even a scene of the Ten Yama Halls~ Super unique!! It’s quite the moral lesson~ I remember seeing this as a kid, but then rarely afterwards. As a kid, it felt scary, but now that I’m older and understand doing good, it doesn’t seem so frightening. But it’s a great teaching tool to encourage kids to be kind~~ The second floor of the General’s Mansion is the stage area~ There are also many cultural relics on display, truly an eye-opener!! It’s like a mini museum. Not only are there Qing Dynasty artifacts, but also famous artworks like Tang tri-color pottery. It’s definitely worth a visit. The second floor also has a toothpaste DIY section!! Super unique!! Come check out how toothpaste is DIY’d. The staff will first give a demonstration, then let everyone try filling their own White People Toothpaste. Their process is now fully automated, so you just place the tube in the right spot and let the machine do the rest. It’s really amazing to see the toothpaste being filled. There was a rumor online that if the end of the tube is green, it’s better quality—but actually, that’s just a computer alignment mark to help with cutting. For printing, adding more colors costs more, so they usually use the most dominant color on the packaging as the alignment color. Black is usually the easiest to recognize, so no particular color means better or safer. Also, during the DIY, you can take photos and add custom stickers to create your very own unique toothpaste!! It’s pretty fun, and letting kids fill their own toothpaste gives them a sense of participation and accomplishment—which might just make them more willing to brush their teeth. Waiting for the sticker to be made takes a bit of time, so you can go explore the General’s Mansion again or check out the shop to see if there are any toothpaste souvenirs you want to take home. The White People Toothpaste Visitor Factory is really generous—entry to the General’s Mansion is free, and there’s a large rest area with drinks, tea, and even coffee. It’s really such a good deal~ White People Toothpaste’s most iconic product is their propolis toothpaste—really effective…. Grandpa Penguin didn’t believe it at first either. He heard it was good for sensitivity, bought some to try, and then | loved it |. Ever since, he’s become a loyal fan and always asks me to bring back several tubes for him. Even traveling, one tube is only 15 NT—how cheap is that!! Stock up at home. They also have lots of airplane-shaped toothbrushes for kids, which are super convenient for travel—just 15 NT each. Buy a few to keep at home, so little Penguin won’t have an excuse not to brush his teeth for lack of a toothbrush. The boxes all list the ingredients, “Made in Taiwan,” and info about the General’s Mansion. It’s a perfect spot for the whole family to visit. If you’re ever in Chiayi, don’t miss this special and fun visitor factory!!
