This time, when we came to Shengxing Station to enjoy the fireflies, we chose to stay at the chain hotel group's "F HOTEL Sanyi Branch." It’s close to Shengxing Station, and the currently hottest 3D painted staircase of Jianzhong Elementary School is right next door.

The first floor also has a public slide and ball pit area. The retro red brick walls paired with natural greenery give off a very classic, traditional vibe. There are several parking spaces at the hotel entrance, but if they’re full, you’ll need to park at the nearby Guangsheng Old Street parking lot.

The first-floor lobby is simple and unadorned.

It incorporates the most famous wood carvings of Sanyi, giving off a strong Hakka cultural feel.

Today we stayed in a double room. We originally wanted to book a family room, but all were fully booked today. Although it’s a double room, the bed is quite large, and there’s no extra charge for children under 6 if they don’t need their own bed.

The curtains have two layers. If you want to see the view outside but don’t want sunlight streaming in, you can pull back the outer layer. The inner translucent curtain blocks light while still allowing a clear view of the scenery. The view here is quite nice—you can gaze at the mountain landscape as if you’re in a valley.

You can lie in bed and face the distant mountain view directly—so relaxing and cozy.

Actually, there was a small issue during our check-in today. We found quite a few ants crawling around the table lamp beside the bed, and by evening, the ants didn’t seem to want to leave the room. When we called the front desk, they immediately helped us change rooms.

Although we were a bit upset at first upon discovering the ants in the room, at least the staff’s response was very proactive. After the room change, the same problem didn’t occur again. Though the new room was smaller than the original, at least we could sleep without feeling uneasy.

The feeling of "F HOTEL Sanyi Branch" is more retro, without too many extravagant decorations. The hardware facilities are also average, but the space is quite large.

Simple luggage rack.

The room provides coffee packets, tea bags, drinks, and two bottles of mineral water.

I really love this large soaking tub—the surface is paved with stone. Although the water isn’t hot spring water, during check-in, as long as you join the chain hotel’s LINE to receive messages, they give you two free packets of bath salts. Soaking in such a big bathtub is the ultimate enjoyment.

But the only downside is that there’s no separate wet and dry area, so you have to take a shower here before filling the tub for a soak. Actually, Zhen Taifei thinks the bathroom in the "F HOTEL Sanyi Branch" is quite spacious—it would be great if they could add a separate shower space.

Isn’t it really spacious?

There’s also a row of mirrors in the back where you can check your full outfit. Their bathrooms perform quite well.

Separate toilet area.

Amenities are from the "F HOTEL" private brand.

There’s also an lounge area on the middle floor, which also follows the retro style.

Outside the room, there’s an observation balcony with a view so refreshing and delightful. The balcony is also decorated with green plants.

There’s a seating area on the balcony, though it doesn’t seem particularly clean—the floor still had cigarette butts left behind.

After enjoying the fireflies at Shengxing Station, we returned to the hotel to rest. The kids absolutely couldn’t miss this spot—the children’s play area is open from 7:00 to 23:00. The ball pit and slide are enough to help the kids burn off all their energy.

There are also big bouncy balls to roll around with.

There’s also a coin-operated arcade game nearby.

Free bicycles are also provided for guests. The "F HOTEL Sanyi Branch" is close to the Tung Blossom Corridor, but it wasn’t in bloom when we visited at the end of April.

There’s also a chess and games room, perfect for larger families to have some fun together.

Overall, our stay at "F HOTEL Sanyi Branch" was quite good. Although an unpleasant incident made me doubt the cleanliness for a moment, at least the staff handled things very proactively and were very kind.
