The moment I got this Gudetama set, I was instantly healed. Although the character is beloved by many office ladies for his laid-back vibe, the simple line design paired with the content of the game books makes it irresistible for kids too, which kept getting in the way of my unboxing process!
The puzzle box contains four different 15-piece puzzles with unique patterns. With fewer pieces, they’re just the right level of challenge for 3–5-year-olds. My 3-year-old daughter managed to complete one in about 3–5 minutes and didn’t tire of replaying. For an added challenge, you can mix all four puzzles together – great for friendly competitions during family gatherings to add more fun.
The boxed puzzles make storage a breeze. Plus, the bottom of the box has a cute surprise: once all four puzzles are removed, you’ll see Gudetama lying full and burping at the bottom – how adorable is that?!
Learning shape cards are a staple purchase for many parents. Especially the 26 letters of the alphabet, often one of the first introductions kids have to the ABCs. But have you seen ABC cards as cute as these featuring Gudetama? Each letter features a playful Gudetama doodle and pairs with 26 common English words. The cards are high-quality, made of thick cardstock so they won’t rip easily. You can even play “Guess Where Gudetama Is” memory flip games!
Kids will fall in love at first sight with this portable flip-book storybook. It’s compact enough to fit in a child’s own backpack. The sturdy cardboard pages won’t easily bend or tear – younger kids can use it as a picture book, while older preschoolers can practice reading with the phonetic annotations next to the text. Parents can also read the simple Gudetama mini-facts for shared learning. With other cute animals featured alongside Gudetama, it makes for a wonderful parent-child reading experience.
With the New Year approaching, using postcards as greeting cards is super practical. The illustrations can be left blank for the recipient to color themselves, or let your little ones get creative – then send the colorful masterpieces to grandparents. They’re sure to be delighted! In addition to 226 game stickers, the book also includes connect-the-dots, spot-the-difference, coloring pages, sticker puzzles, crafts, and even a Gudetama-themed Monopoly game – it’s truly designed for shared New Year fun for both kids and adults. Bring just one book and keep the visits lively during New Year greetings. Gudetama really thought of everything!
The Gudetama Monopoly game is perfect for festive tabletop fun!
Continuing the gameplay style of the first egg book, this one lets you stick, draw, search, and piece things together with your child. It also includes a mini Gudetama-themed board game where you search for Gudetama. Worried your kid might just want to watch TV after the New Year’s Eve dinner while the adults are still chatting? Hand them this activity book and you’re all set!
Designed as a 15×21 cm pocket-sized book, small but mighty – it contains over 180 stickers, giving you endless opportunities for sticking fun. It’s a must-have for long holiday journeys, whether you're on the high-speed rail, regular train, plane, or stuck in traffic. This little pocket book keeps kids quietly and happily seated, and just peeling and sticking stickers is surprisingly therapeutic!
The two-in-one design of the sticker book and activity book combines two of kids’ favorite quiet activities. Despite being a combo, there’s no shortage of stickers – 120 of them – just the sight of them is enough to make any child smile!
Another compact pocket book design – personally, I think it’s better suited for kids aged 5 and up, though even adults will enjoy playing. All you need is a pen to circle the differences – simpler than Sudoku but equally great for passing the time.
This special set from Mom's Guide not only comes at a great price, but the quality bonding time for both adults and kids is truly priceless. Add in the healing power of Sanrio’s top mascot, and this New Year gives you not just joy but a whole lot of big yellow goodness. Let’s laze around and play games together to celebrate the New Year!
