LINE Themed Café Opens in Taipei on December 23 — Home of the Adorable Brown & Choco!

LINE FRIENDS Cafe & Store has finally launched in Taiwan. Recently, LINE announced plans to open a 60-ping (approx. 1,980 sq ft) hybrid café in Taiwan themed around Brown’s sister “Choco’s (Brownie’s) House,” where beverages, desserts, and merchandise will be sold. The café is set to open on December 23 at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi’s A11 in Xinyi New Life Square!

The entire store is centered around Brown’s sister “Choco,” featuring a massive 3.4-meter-tall Choco figure. Additionally, a cozy pink Choco-style home will be created, along with five photogenic spots for visitors to take pictures.

Details about the café’s menu remain somewhat mysterious, with limited information released so far. What we do know is that there will be a cute “Brown-shaped egg cake” and a takeaway cup featuring Brown’s image — the adorable designs are highly anticipated.

The first 100 people to queue up and receive a number before the December 23 opening will be able to exchange their queue number for the “LINE FRIENDS Brown & Cony Plush Toy Couple Set” with any purchase at LINE FRIENDS Cafe & Store on the day — no minimum spend required.

The characters from the messaging app LINE are extremely popular across Asia, with dedicated LINE FRIENDS Cafe & Stores already operating in Japan, Korea, and China, attracting numerous fans. Now that it’s finally arrived in Taiwan, it’s expected to draw large crowds and become the latest hot spot for photos.
