With Yilan’s beautiful mountains, waters, and scenery, it makes you want to visit again and again... Many well-known hot spring hotels are concentrated in Jiaoxi Town, while the Yongtai Group invested NT$5.463 billion to build the only five-star international resort hotel with hot springs in Ludong. It opened in 2017, has 24 floors above ground and 4 underground, with a prestigious and grand presence that changes Yilan’s skyline and has become Ludong’s newest landmark!

Full of filial piety, in gratitude to your parents![Ludong Cunque International Hotel]The name originates from the Chairman taking one character from the names of his two parents as an homage!Villages (Cun) and Watchtowers (Que)were incorporated into the hotel’s name, a heartwarming gesture of filial devotion that is truly touching!
“Spending money to be there” is not as good as “being there with heart”Nowadays, families have fewer children, and parents often only think about how to make their children successful, but neglect teaching them filial piety. It’s truly regrettable when news reports talk about accomplished individuals who become estranged from their families. If, in ordinary life, we can put more heart into accompanying our parents and maintain close interactions, it will be worth more than anything. Instead of just teaching kids to be filial, teach them how to love. Through this trip, you can also share this little story – we believe it will plant a good seed in your child’s heart!
One night with two meals, Buy Big Give Small for $5,999No price increase during winter and summer vacations,5in the month of8and Saturdays in the month of
are also not subject to additional charges. The reason for such an attractive offer:First,a token of gratitude to parents—5in the months of8and Saturdays are also not subject to extra fees, so parents can be happy, and take the opportunity to go on a relaxing family trip with their kids during school breaks, come to Yilan for the Children’s Folk Games Festival, and boost local tourism.
Second, Mom’s Travel Fun X Ludong Cunque International Hotel have formed a cross-industry alliance. To give back to hardworking parents, Mom’s Travel Fun has integrated the hotel’s advantages and provided multi-channel media exposure along with promotion for Yilan tourism. As a result, Cunque Hot Spring Hotel is directly offering its exclusive package to fans of Mom’s Travel Fun at a discounted rate!
Third, this group’s “experience package” requires guests to act as “online reviewers” after check-in to be eligible to enter a draw for a buffet voucher at the Mingchu Baihui All-You-Can-Eat Restaurant:
As the hotel is still in trial operation, aiming for perfection, it has not yet officially opened even though half a year has passed. This is to allow more people to experience it first and help improve the hotel!
This is to showcase the most authentic guest experiences. Should any issues with the hotel be found during the stay, Mom’s Travel Fun will assist in reporting them to the hotel for improvement, and will also provide ten lottery spots for Cunque buffet vouchers (Mingchu Baihui is known for letting you enjoy a wide variety of fresh seafood in one go!)

This time, I specially brought Mom along for the trip, and she couldn’t stop smiling. It not only comforted her from daily worries, but I also got to chat and stroll with her – it was really joyful!Don’t miss out this time – you must take either Mom or Dad out for a trip. Show filial piety by choosing this trip.Even your furry little ones can come along too!

Chun Que International Hot Spring Hotel
Address:No. 190, Zhandong Road, Luodong Township, Yilan County 265
Telephone:TEL: 04-22527878
Towering behind Luodong Railway Station, the ultra-luxury “Chun Que International Hot Spring Hotel” is an imposing sight from afar. Located directly behind the railway tracks, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of trains passing by nonstop.
The hotel was specially designed by a renowned Taiwanese interior designer. Its symmetrical double-Y exterior gives it the look and feel of a luxury mansion, allowing every space to offer varied views and heights through its large windows. Covering 3,000 ping (approx. 9,900 sqm), it stands 24 stories tall with 453 luxurious hot spring rooms—its presence is unmistakable from anywhere.
After crossing the level crossing, you’ll see the hotel Up ahead. To the right of the hotel is a ground-level parking lot with four underground levels “where parking is free for guests”!
With nearly 600 parking spaces and 24-hour full surveillance, your vehicle can stay securely parked here.
Upon disembarking, you’ll enjoy VIP elevator service (sneak peek here)—buttons are pre-selected, and you’ll go straight to the first floor.
Remember, you can’t access all floors directly from here—you’ll need to transfer to the first-floor lobby and switch elevators.
Additionally, the hotel operates three shuttle buses. This one looks especially prestigious (you can ride it too!)—it instantly makes you feel right at home.
Thoughtful services:A shuttle bus service is available from Luodong Back Station to the hotel. Please book in advance at the front desk: Tel: 03-905-7988#9
Backed by a well-established Taiwanese construction company, the architectural design, both in external layout and scale, is reflected in the operational details as well. Upon entering the lobby, you’re greeted by a stylish, grand design exuding the elegance and sophistication unique to five-star establishments.
The hotel’s concept focuses on the three visions of “developing local culture,” “preserving natural resources,” and “promoting tourism and leisure recreation.” Its luxurious layout embodies these ideals, blending materials such as wood, metal, and stone. The interior features abundant warm-toned lighting and incorporates landscape artwork inspired by Yilan.
The room key, featuring a uniquely designed image of the hotel exterior, also displays the WIFI password.
The elevator is surrounded by brilliant, crystal-clear lighting, exuding both classic elegance and luxurious boldness.
Beyond this area is the back hall, flanked by restaurants where breakfast is served.
At the rear, a soothing water wall with gently flowing water is paired with lush green landscaping, instantly relieving any feelings of fatigue.
Our family couldn’t wait to get to our room. As soon as the elevator doors opened, we were greeted by the beautiful scenery of Luodong Town. The weather was perfect, and we were even lucky enough to spot Guishan Island. It was truly breathtaking.
Attentive housekeeping staff will gather your luggage and deliver it to your room using a trolley.

The small snacks in the living room are all edible. The kids immediately sat by the window, poured their drinks, and happily enjoyed their afternoon tea.
The room has a small balcony where you can chat with your family. The village is actually the tallest hotel in Luodong, truly making the scenery the star of the space.
The view from high up is indeed fantastic. From different angles, you can faintly see the distant mountains and sea. Of course, if you’re lucky enough to get a room facing the sea, you might even catch a glimpse of Guishan Island. (Our room happened to face the sea, and the weather that day was nice, though the clouds were a bit thick—but the view was still quite clear!)
Whether it’s a daytime or nighttime view, whether you want to greet the morning sunrise or wait for the sunset, every room here allows you to enjoy the lake and mountain scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows. It really helps to rejuvenate the weary hearts and worries of those who’ve been cooped up in the city.
A movable wooden partition door divides one room into two functional areas. The bathroom is divided into three sections, with an overall layout that completely separates wet and dry areas. Thoughtfully, the toilet and shower are separated. Another area with a better view features the famous double soaking tubs. The bath products are from the well-known brand “Shang Shan Cai Yao.”
In the past, hot springs were only available in Jiaoxi, but now Luodong Village has made it happen too.
Each guest room is designed with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views and comes with a unique pair of hot spring tubs.
The scenic windows allow you to take in the breathtaking views from the high floors while soaking, giving parents complete relaxation for the mind, body, and soul.
Soaking in the hot spring connects you with the earth’s energy. The village usesa “sodium bicarbonate beauty hot spring” after the regular one,and the hotel environment is pure and unpolluted. Sodium bicarbonate spring is a premium type among hot springs—crystal clear, odorless, with a pH level of around 7. After soaking, your skin will feel incredibly smooth and silky.
Paired withthe “noble hot spring” known as the “nano milk bath,”which incorporates wellness bathing technology using patented nano-technology to create high-speed collisions between water molecules—generating up to 1.2 billion ultra-fine bubbles per minute. With just a press of a button, it perfectly blends the energy in the air with the minerals in the water, delivering a silky-smooth sensation akin to a luxury milk bath.
The weather was perfect, so we headed first to the fifth-floor Premium Club, which features a kids’ club, outdoor pool, spa, men’s and women’s hot springs, and a naked bath area.
On both sides of the counter, there are separate play areas for children—the left side is for toddlers, and the right is for older kids.
Operating hours: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
The children’s area has large building blocks to play with. Climbing up and down is super energizing. Not only do the kids have fun, but the adults outside can also relax while watching them.
Next to the counter, there’s a resting area for parents along with picture books and children’s books for all ages to read. Board games are available for borrowing, and parent-child game battles can help enhance closeness.
The toddler area has mini scooters, crawling bases, and slides. Don’t worry if your baby has nowhere to go—kids who love LEGO or stacking blocks can freely unleash their creativity on the LEGO wall panels. Once they sit down to play, you definitely won’t be able to pull them away. Let them fully burn off their energy—it makes for better sleep later.
The wonderfully sunny outdoor pool is an absolute must-try. Doesn’t it feel like you’ve teleported abroad in seconds?
When visiting Luodong Village in summer, don’t forget to bring swimsuits and swim gear—and it’s best to bring a “water play device operator” (aka someone to man the water toys). Summer is perfect for water gun battles.
Operating hours: 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Before entering, please register your room number at the counter. Because the men’s and women’s areas are separate, each family receives an electronic wristband. Personal belongings can be stored in electronic lockers. Mineral water is available for free, and each room gets large towels based on the number of guests—no need to lug towels down from your room or bring your own. It really saves you from carrying around a bunch of stuff (mom’s shoulders say thank you 🙏).
The overly helpful guidebook:
&f We changed into our swimsuits right in the room and came down.
&f The slippers in the room can be worn downstairs. If they get wet, new ones are provided here for immediate replacement.
If you forgot to bring a swimsuit, you can buy one at the convenience store. If you want to rent a floatie, you can also borrow one for free from the counter. Remember to return it after use—take good care of it so the next little guest can enjoy it too.
Wow, this is another Twin Pools here!Photos of both the deep and shallow pools are provided for everyone’s reference.Whether you’re a big kid or a little one, there’s fun for all.
The pool floats come in two types: the sit-on kind with two holes (suitable for toddlers), found in the shallow pool area, and the traditional borrow-style float used by Xiao Jipopo’s family.
Model demonstration::
For toddlers around 85–100 cm tall (shallow pool water up to the bottom).
For first graders around 120 cm tall (shallow pool water up to below the knees; deep pool up to the neck).
For fifth graders around 141 cm tall (deep pool water up to the chest).
Under the warm sun, adults can sit or lie by the pool. To beautify the poolside area, flowers and trees are planted nearby, creating a lush garden-like setting. With a gentle breeze, you can immerse yourself in nature—dads can unwind their tired bodies, while moms, of course, are hereto take beautiful photos to post online, haha!Watching the kids play non-stop and enjoying themselves brings so much joy to the heart!
This photo was taken by Xiao Jipopo from the room—we happen to have the pool directly below us, where flower petal designs float on the water.
The hot spring area is divided into men’s and women’s sections as well as a clothing-optional zone. Inside, there’s a washing area where you can blow-dry your hair. Mineral water is available for free refills, and you can swap your slippers for new ones anytime. Amenities such as combs and shower caps are also provided.
There are restrooms and toilets. After changing swimsuits and soaking in the hot springs, you can apply lotion to moisturize. There’s also a relaxation room where you can rest and unwind after your soak. The outdoor area is perfect for a calming stroll.
Friendly reminder: Please remember to put used towels in the recycling bin. Let’s keep the shared space clean by not littering—everyone’s comfort matters.
After eating and drinking your fill, parents who want to work out or stay active can hit the gym while catching up on TV dramas.
Operating hours: 7:00 AM ~ 11:00 PM
The first floor has an information zone equipped with Apple devices. If you’d like to borrow them, just register at the front desk to get the password and keyboard/mouse.
After playing and releasing energy on the fifth floor, don’t miss the rich dinner included in your stay. Depending on the number of guests, the hotel serves either a buffet or set meals.
(Here’s a photo of that night’s open kitchen buffet restaurant—it’s all-you-can-eat with genuine ingredients!)
Japanese cold dish section: Thanks to coastal Yilan, you can enjoy the freshest seafood and high-quality ingredients—truly a feast for the eyes and taste buds.
Aside from seafood, Xiao Jipopo had her first encounter with roast suckling pig here—one of the signature dishes you shouldn’t miss!
So much meat, it’s mouthwatering just to look at.
Also a must-try is the savory grilled beef and lamb steak section here!(The wild boar rice ball is wrapped in lotus leaf for a unique flavor.)
They say you have a separate stomach for dessert—and it’s true. After all that food, you’ve got to try the various sweets under the bread wall here. Totally worth the calories!
Each delicate dessert is made by pastry chefs with five-star hotel experience. Each piece is designed for a single bite, making it hard to stop taking more!
Macarons, cream puffs, éclairs, cheesecake, mini puddings, strawberry mousse…
Look how happy Xiao Jipopo’s mommy is eating—grandma, mom, and kid, all completely satisfied.
Finally, be sure to end this hearty meal with branded ice cream and fresh fruit.
After a good meal, of course you’ll want to take a stroll at the Luodong Night Market Up!It’s just a 13-minute walk from the hotel, and you can walk, snack, and explore along the way!
What visitors love most here are the local specialties, affordable clothing and shoe stores, and numerous snack shops. Popular treats include Sanxing scallion buns, dragon-phoenix legs, mutton soup, scallion pancakes, stuffed taro balls... etc., all are crowd favorites, and the atmosphere gets even better as the night goes on!
As night falls and the lights come on, you can clearly see Highway No. 5 from the window, shining like a beautiful Milky Way. The room has a double bath, and soaking in the hot springs at night offers a completely different view from the daytime. The countryside is the exact opposite of the city—the night scenery is truly breathtaking, looking like a beautiful painting. The neon lights on the streets shine brightly, illuminating the entire urban area in a riot of colors. Enjoying the hot spring together as a family of three—grandma, mom, and child—is another kind of joy.
While the kids and hubby were soaking and asleep, I (the overly enthusiastic one) took Mom out for a little walk and some photos. We first headed up to the R floor (the rooftop) to take pictures—it’s almost a 360-degree open-air outdoor space with plenty of sunlight, and you can even overlook all of Luodong from here!
Rooftop high-altitude bar
The hotel also has a bar on the 24th floor, located at the highest level of the building. It’s Yilan’s first high-altitude bar. If you want to enjoy a view of Luodong’s cityscape from a high floor, come check it out.
The streetlights are on, twinkling in the light and shadows, like flocks of pure white little moths!
Next comes mother-daughter time Up!We changed into swimsuits, grabbed the robes provided by the hotel, and headed straight to the fifth floor for a nighttime SPA soak!
Inside, the men’s and women’s public pools are separate, and there are also naked soaking areas and SPA zones.
Opening hours: 7:00 AM ~ 11:00 PM
The nano milk bath wasn’t enough in the room, so of course we had to come down and soak again Up!Mother and daughter both getting glowing and beautiful together—how wonderful~
Mom said she hadn’t enjoyed something like this in a long time, and there was no need to worry about time limits either. Every time before, it always felt rushed. But tonight, chatting and laughing made her really happy. Spending time with family isn’t about how much money you spend, but about “genuine companionship.”
Especially since, as a daughter who’s married, I rarely go back to my parents’ home, and it’s really rare to have such intimate moments. Being able to bring Mom here to stay in a nice hotel, enjoy good meals, and show a little filial piety—Mom said she was really happy. Judging by her smile all day, I (the overly enthusiastic one) truly felt that the money was well spent!
After the soak, we were incredibly satisfied. I hope everyone can cherish every moment spent with family.
A vitality-packed breakfast full of energy—the package includes breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children!
Opening hours: 06:30 - 10:00
The restaurant is divided into two halls: Yueheng and Rif. The layout is Y-shaped, overall luxurious and grand.
There’s also plenty of seating, with high ceilings combined with elegant lighting, allowing you to enjoy a wonderful ambiance while dining!
Breakfast is served buffet-style. Ingredients are sourced in collaboration with various farmer’s associations in Yilan, and even the health soy milk is provided in partnership with a local farmer’s association in Luodong. The kids couldn’t get enough, drinking bottle after bottle!
Wooden children’s chairs are also provided, allowing young kids to dine safely.
There are steamed food and cooked food sections to satisfy those who love traditional Chinese breakfast. Side dishes can also be ordered and cooked on the spot, with fresh dishes changing daily. The speed of serving and replenishing is quick, and both the head chef and manager come out regularly to check on guest needs. When I (the overly enthusiastic one) dropped a fork, the manager immediately had someone pick it up and replace it with a new one—the thoughtful service and table-clearing speed are top-notch.
Exclusive “Mini Burger DIY Area”
Here, kids can play chef in the morning. Just line up, put on gloves, and start assembling your own burger with your favorite fillings. Whoa, once you make it yourself, you’ll finish it in seconds. Everyone should give it a try~
Cheese platter section—cheese lovers must not miss the variety of cheeses. The one in the upper right is still aging, and it’s huge!
Self-service baked bread section
Offers various types of toast and handmade bread, plus sauces made by the hotel. After going through the oven, I (the overly enthusiastic one) just couldn’t stop eating slice after slice!
The hotel is designed based on seven green building principles: site water retention, greenery volume, waste reduction, sewage and garbage improvement, daily energy conservation, water resource management, and indoor environment. Green trees and plants are visible everywhere. Those who enjoy outdoor spaces can also pour themselves a cup of coffee, sit in the sun, and put a perfect ending to their journey.
The check-out time is 12 PM, giving guests ample, unhurried time to fully enjoy all the facilities. This place is perfect for anyone who just wants to relax and enjoy a lazy vacation without going anywhere.
Now, bring your parents and come join us~
