Hello Kitty Bullet Train！Stunningly Colorful Interior That’s Purely Dreamy

Travelers who love Hello Kitty and Japan have great news—Hello Kitty has collaborated with West Japan Railway Company to launch a series of Hello Kitty-themed Shinkansen bullet trains, set to begin service at the end of June. The trains will run daily between Shin-Osaka Station in Osaka Prefecture and Hakata in Fukuoka Prefecture.

The train cars will feature white and pink as the main color scheme, with plenty of Hello Kitty and bow motifs. The onboard staff will also wear Hello Kitty-themed uniforms. The exterior of the train cars will be adorned with Hello Kitty illustrations, and the 500 Series Nozomi train cars will be painted with sleek ribbon designs.

In addition to the abundance of colorful patterns, the railway company has included area introductions inside the carriages, where souvenirs can also be purchased. There's even a giant Kitty placed for passengers to take photos with.

The Hello Kitty train consists of eight cars. The first and second cars will introduce sightseeing spots in western Japan, from Tottori Prefecture to Shimane Prefecture, showcasing the characteristics of the regions along the route. Additionally, there are up to 3,000 themed merchandise items available.
