Golden yellow fields of daylilies cover the mountains and forests – a must-visit spot for Instagram-worthy farm photos

Starting from April to May each year, lowland daylilies begin to bloom one after another, and by summer, high-altitude daylilies take over the show. Located in Taichung, the Muxinquan Farm kicks off its daylily season in May, transforming its lush green hillsides into a sea of golden blooms, as if draped in a yellow blanket — a breathtaking sight.

The farm spans over 8 hectares of expansive land. Its high altitude offers views of JiuTong Mountain, the Dajia River, and more. At night, you can gaze at a sky full of stars and overlook the neon-lit cityscape of Taichung.

In addition to daylilies, the farm is planted with a variety of flowers across its hillsides, including cherry blossoms, azaleas, wild lilies, lavender, maples, and tung flowers, allowing visitors to enjoy different floral landscapes all year round. Currently, the daylilies are in spectacular full bloom, with the season lasting until August. You can also admire hydrangeas and love flowers.
