Hsinchu has a new shopping landmark—“Das Riegels ns Ya Plaza”—which officially opened in June and became the city’s first large-scale integrated sports and leisure venue. The mall features a sports-themed design, integrating entertainment, sports, and dining options, along with Das Riegels’ signature baseball and softball batting cages.

Das Riegels ns Ya Plaza began trial operations in May. It is the first city outside of the six major municipalities where the Das Riegels Group has invested, following Taichung and Kaohsiung. The four-story above-ground and one-story below-ground complex houses approximately 80 brands, combining experiences in sports, leisure, entertainment, dining, and retail.

The plaza centers around the concept of an “experiential community economy.” It not only offers a baseball and softball batting cage, indoor basketball court, fitness center, and children’s ice-skating rink, but also features many exclusive food brands in Hsinchu, along with a wide variety of sports, outdoor gear, 3C electronics, casual wear, and entertainment offerings.
