Hydrangeas are in bloom!

Every June is the most beautiful season for hydrangeas to blossom. With various colors of flowers set against the backdrop of blue skies and white clouds, they appear especially vibrant. Below is a list of four spots where hydrangeas are blooming early. If you want to admire these colorful blooms, you can stake out your spot early.

1. Taipei – Gao Family Hydrangea Field
The Gao Family Hydrangea Field boasts the largest sea of flowers in Zhushanhu and went viral in 2017 after an IG official reposted and authenticated a photo of its hydrangea field, making it a popular flower-viewing destination.

2. Taoyuan – Daxi Flower Farm
Daxi Flower Farm offers different floral landscapes all year round, making it a great spot for flower viewing at any time. In May each year, romantic hydrangeas bloom, complemented by other vibrant flowers and landscaping, making it a perfect place for photos. There’s also a restaurant for meals and rest, ideal for a full-day visit.

3. Miaoli - Nanjhuang Bilojiao Garden Cafe
Nanjhuang has many great flower-viewing spots, and the Bilojiao Garden Cafe is already in full bloom with hydrangeas. The garden features over 800 hydrangea plants, scattered across fairy-tale cottages, garden paths, and more, complemented by maple trees, tulips, and cosmos.
