360-degree Views of Two Flower Seas: A Dreamy Flower Park in Hokkaido

Every year until early May, cherry blossoms continue to bloom in Hokkaido, transitioning to the vibrant blooms of moss phlox and azaleas from mid- to late May. In addition to the famous Takimatsu Park and Higashimokoto Moss Phlox Park, Taiyo-no-Oka Eniwa Park also features expansive moss phlox flower seas. There are also azaleas nearby, allowing visitors to enjoy two stunning flower seas in one visit.

The park spans a vast area of 10 hectares and is renowned for its cosmos flower seas in autumn, with millions of cosmos flowers planted, making it Japan’s largest cosmos field.

In early summer, vast fields of moss phlox and azaleas bloom in succession, stretching from the mountaintop down to the foothills, resembling a colorful floral carpet. Paired with the endless blue sky, the scenery is spectacular and breathtakingly beautiful.
