Next Monday (the 7th), the wind direction will shift to the southwest, bringing muggy, summer-like conditions during the day, with temperatures generally ranging between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius. Taitung’s Dawu may even experience foehn winds. Moisture levels will start to rise, increasing the likelihood of afternoon thunderstorms in mountainous areas, with a wider affected area that could also impact some lowland areas in the eastern half of the island.

On Tuesday (the 8th) and Wednesday (the 9th), influenced by the frontal system, there is a chance of localized heavy rain across Taiwan, accompanied by thunder. On Tuesday morning, localized showers or thunderstorms will begin in coastal areas of western Taiwan, and as the front moves in during the day, the rainfall is expected to gradually spread across the entire island. On Wednesday, as the front moves southward, rainfall may ease slightly in some areas, but the probability of precipitation remains high nationwide.

This frontal system is moving more slowly than the previous one and has a more intact structure, resulting in a relatively high probability of short-duration heavy rainfall and severe weather (such as lightning, strong winds, and hail). By Thursday (the 10th), as the front gradually moves away, rainfall in northern Taiwan will subside, although brief showers or thunderstorms may still occur in central and southern Taiwan as well as Hualien and Taitung.

From Friday to Sunday (the 11th to the 13th), as the frontal system moves away, the weather will stabilize again. Most regions will see mostly cloudy skies, with localized brief showers in the eastern half of the island, and isolated brief thunderstorms in the western half during the afternoon. From the 14th to the 16th, the weather pattern will continue to feature afternoon thunderstorms.
