Not just Korean stars are hot anymore！ Korea Tourism is launching "Oppa Tour Guides"

In recent years, the Korea Tourism Organization has enlisted well-known male celebrities to promote tourism. Whether it’s Song Joong-ki, who has recently become a husband, or the ever-rising star Lee Jong-suk, they both captivate many female fans. Paired with various ways to explore Korea, this helps boost Korean tourism.

Recently, aside from celebrity endorsements, Korea Tourism has come up with a new idea—offering an “Oppa Tour Guide” service. Young, energetic, and handsome Korean men will serve as local guides, taking tourists on flash tours around Seoul. The news has garnered a strong response from many female travelers, all eager to discuss this new way to travel.

The tour guide Oppa leads tourists to Gwangjang Market to taste local specialties like raw octopus, or takes them to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Insadong with the charming male guides to experience traditional Korean hanbok dressing—making it feel like a scene straight out of a Korean drama, offering a dreamy and romantic experience.

The Korean tour guide service introduces seven handsome Oppas who guide in specific areas, roaming the streets and alleys with travelers, accompanying them to entertainment spots, and even serving as personal photographers to capture beautiful moments. This service has become very popular among female travelers.
