1. Xuejia Hollyhock Flowers
Every year from mid-to-late March to April is the blooming season for hollyhocks in the Xuejia area of Tainan. Flower-loving visitors can head to the Guanghua Li community in Xuejia to admire them. Commonly known as “one-zhang red,” the hollyhocks differ from other areas that mainly feature cosmos or sunflower seas. With 5.5 hectares of tall hollyhock blooms, it feels like truly stepping into a flower forest, which amazes many visitors. April is an ideal time for flower viewing—make sure to plan a visit then.

2. Er’gangzi Wheat Field

The Lin Chuchih Kapok Flower Avenue in Baihe District is ranked among the world’s top 15 most beautiful flower sea walking paths. Every March, when the kapok flowers are in full bloom, the miles of fiery red blooms attract numerous visitors. It’s a perfect spot for taking photos and enjoying the flowers, making it a great destination for a holiday outing.
