Japan's Largest Herb Garden: A New Spring Cherry Blossom and Night View Spot

Kobe’s Nunobiki Herb Garden in Japan, home to about 75,000 herbs and flowers of 200 varieties, is the largest herb garden in the country.

Located on a mountain, the garden features various herb-related experience facilities from the mountaintop to the foothills. Among them, the garden observation deck and glasshouse café situated midway up the mountain, which offer a panoramic view of the port city of Kobe, have undergone a complete renovation. The new attraction “The Veranda at Kobe” officially opened on Saturday, April 7, 2018, with a trial operation starting March 17.
