Over 300 stalls to explore — a new night market hotspot bathed in romantic lights

The Wenshin Tourist Night Market, which accompanied Taichung residents for 20 years, was once one of the must-visit local destinations. Even after it closed in 2014, many food lovers still missed it dearly. Years later, in March this year, it relocated to Huancheng Road and reopened under a new identity as the “Huancheng Night Market,” aiming to recreate the bustling atmosphere of its predecessor and become a new highlight for Taichung tourism.

With nearly 300 diverse stalls offering food, games, and merchandise, the Huancheng Night Market has attracted numerous visitors since its opening. Its rest area features a 50-meter-long light corridor, creating a romantic ambiance. There are also plenty of game stalls and areas where visitors can challenge themselves after enjoying their meals.

Additionally, the site has set up a variety of dazzling art installations, including heart-shaped light displays, a pumpkin carriage, a starry sky corridor, and high heels, offering endless food options and photo opportunities. It combines entertainment, cuisine, and sightseeing in one destination.
