1. Koizumi Railway
Koizumi Railway is a local private railway in Chiba Prefecture. Vehicles manufactured about half a century ago are still in operation today, loved by tourists of all ages. When spring arrives, the train passes through flower fields where vast seas of golden rapeseed blossoms can be seen — a breathtaking view that’s incredibly soothing.

2. Isumi Railway
Isumi Railway is another local railway in Chiba Prefecture, running through the center of the Boso Peninsula. From mid-March to late April each year, about 15 kilometers of the railway line become enveloped by rapeseed flower fields. When cherry blossoms are in bloom, pink floral seas intermingle with golden rapeseed blooms. You can enjoy the view from the train window or get off midway to walk right into the flower fields.

3. Cape Irako
Located on the tip of the Atsumi Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture, Cape Irako features a limestone lighthouse at its very edge. From the top of the lighthouse, you can gaze not only at the magnificent Pacific Ocean view but also take in the sweeping seas of golden rapeseed flowers.
