On the 16th, the frontal system will have passed, with localized brief showers in northern Taiwan, the eastern half of the country, mountainous areas in the central and southern parts, as well as Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu. Other areas may also experience scattered brief showers. On Saturday, areas north of Taoyuan and the eastern half will see rain with cooler temperatures ranging between 17–20°C. Conditions will ease and clear up on Sunday, with temperatures rising. Central and southern regions will remain warmer, with temperatures between 17–26°C. There will be large diurnal temperature variations, so stay warm in the morning and evening to avoid catching a cold.

Over the 15th and 16th, localized fog and low clouds affecting visibility are likely in western Taiwan as well as Kinmen and Matsu. Please also pay attention to air quality and wear masks when going out. The next frontal system is expected to affect Taiwan around Tuesday the 20th.
