Another beloved Japanese Tokyo food trend is coming to Taiwan！ The wildly popular street snack AND THE FRIET, which has taken Tokyo and Seoul by storm, is set to open its first Taiwan branch on December 31. AND THE FRIET brings the Belgian way of enjoying potatoes—guests can choose from six seasonal potato varieties and cuts, and enjoy the fun of pairing them with various sauces and toppings.

AND THE FRIET offers several potato cutting styles including STRAIGHT CUT (SHOE-STRING) (7mm), STRAIGHT CUT (12mm),
WEDGE CUT, CURLY CUT, HALF CUT, and CRYSPY CUT. As for sauces, there are plenty to choose from: homemade mayonnaise, three types of cheese sauce, BLACK TRUFFLE MAYONNAISE, FRESH TOMATO KETCHUP, TARTAR SAUCE, FRESH BASIL MAYONNAISE, SWEET CHILI SOUR CREAM, MENTAIKO CREAM MAYO, ANCHOVY MAYONNAISE, and HONEY MUSTARD.
