Become a secret agent and complete missions at the world’s first spy museum

At the end of 2017, a new themed museum dedicated to espionage, SPYSCAPE, opened in New York, located between Central Park and Times Square. Covering an area of 5,574 square meters, the museum houses a collection of rare spy artifacts and incorporates high-tech interactive exhibits, allowing visitors to experience the thrill of being a spy firsthand.

SPYSCAPE features a predominantly dark color scheme to create the atmosphere of spies on a mission. The museum is divided into seven themed zones, covering topics such as deception, surveillance, hacking, and intelligence—all presented through digital multimedia. Each zone includes interactive screens that offer intelligence-based games, and even the museum’s signage is encrypted, with surprises hidden in every detail.

Additionally, what’s even more surprising is that the curators collaborating with SPYSCAPE include former members of hacker groups and heads of intelligence agencies, adding an extra layer of mystery to the museum.
