Since opening in 1962 (Showa 37), Big Boss, located under the JR railway elevated tracks, is a small eatery that carries on the old downtown Tokyo vibe. Open from early morning, it's often packed with customers, largely thanks to its most famous and delicious dish: stewed offal simmered slowly using horse intestines, which has received high praise from everyone who’s tried it.
