This maritime grand tour offers golf enthusiasts the exclusive opportunity to showcase their skills on 30 of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses across 15 countries and island destinations, spanning the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and North and South America. Guests can enjoy a luxurious holiday while experiencing guided golf tours and preferred tee times at some of the world’s most renowned seaside golf courses and fairways. The Silver Links itineraries feature optional golf excursions at various ports, organized and accompanied by cruise golf experts. From the Cape Kidnappers Golf Club in Napier with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, to the more accessible yet elegant Fairmont Pierre Marques Golf Club in Acapulco, to the Royal Zoute Golf Club with its ancient sand dunes and pine forests, guests can hone their skills on championship-level golf courses that offer both challenge and prestige.

Optional golf excursions offered through Silver Links vary in price depending on the course, and the cost includes transportation to and from each golf course, golf carts, green fees, and caddies. Guests may also rent or purchase premium Nike golf clubs and other necessary golf equipment. Participants in every golf-themed cruise journey have the chance to refine their skills onboard, where PGA “Class A” certified golf professionals provide individual coaching, group instruction, demonstrations, and even putting competitions. Some group activities are free, while private lessons incur additional charges. The 2010 Silver Links itineraries and featured golf courses include: The Silver Whisper’s 15-day voyage to the Far East and South Pacific departing January 3, with promotional fares starting at $6,798 per person; the Silver Shadow’s 16-day Caribbean, Mexico, and Panama Canal journey departing January 22, with promotional fares starting at $5,158 per person; the Silver Whisper’s 12-day Mediterranean voyage departing May 31, with promotional fares starting at $5,798 per person; the Silver Whisper’s 11-day Northern Europe and Baltic Sea trip departing June 12, with promotional fares starting at $5,118 per person; and the Silver Whisper’s 10-day Canada and New England voyage departing September 14, with promotional fares starting at $4,118 per person. 2010 Silver Links fares are calculated per person. For double occupancy in a Vista Suite, excluding port fees and handling charges, the cost is approximately $150–$475 per person.
