New Year's Day Dawn Music Concert at Northeast Coast, 2010 Golden Gift Bags to be Given Away

The endless golden sandy beaches are the most alluring charm of the Northeast Coast. Welcoming the first ray of dawn in the new year 2010 along this beautiful coastline is an incredibly moving experience. This year, the "2010 Northeast Coast Dawn & Victory" event, jointly organized by the Northeast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area Administration and the First Financial Group, will kick off the new year with a high-energy rock concert.

The "2010 Northeast Coast Dawn & Victory" concert will begin at 04:00 AM, featuring performances by singers and rock bands that will keep the atmosphere buzzing. These include Golden Melody Award winner Lu Chuan-chung, who will bless everyone with a wonderful new year with his hit song and join everyone for breakfast; the simply joyful Wan-Fu Band, helping people relive childhood memories; and disco-influenced rock bands like "Universe People" and "Come On, Baibai," who will sing with the crowd until dawn. A spectacular fireworks show over the Rainbow Bridge will also lead everyone into the brand-new year.

The event site will also feature an interactive games area where professional tarot card readers will predict participants' wealth or love fortune for the year 99 (2010), and various cosplay costumes will be available for visitors to dress up for the dawn. Guests can also DIY their own glow-in-the-dark masks and props to add to the lively atmosphere in the Fulong area of the Northeast Coast.

Online registration for the "2010 Northeast Coast Dawn & Victory" event has officially begun. Participants can register on the website, and successful registrants will receive one of 2010 Golden Gift Bags provided by the First Financial Group. Each gift bag includes a warm commemorative dawn mug, heat packs, vouchers for delicious on-site breakfast, event raffle tickets, and small blessings from Lingjiushan. The first 600 registrants will also receive round-trip train tickets between Taipei and Fulong, with chances to win grand prizes such as round-trip tickets between Taipei and Hong Kong for two, EPC, and Wii.

In addition to welcoming the first ray of dawn at the Northeast Coast, the scenic area administration also offers itineraries such as the "Fulong Coastal Resort Town Bike Leisure Tour," "Lingjiushan New Year Blessing Trip," and "Northeast Coast Geology & Gourmet Encounter Tour." Visitors are advised to rent a bicycle at Fulong Station after the dawn concert, ride through the longest old Caoling Bicycle Tunnel in northern Taiwan, and cruise along the coastal bike path from Fulong to Yanliao, enjoying the cool breeze and beautiful scenery along the Shuangxi River. They can also explore the Bitou Cape and Dragon Cave Bay Cliff Trails for a hiking adventure that unites them with nature.
