Tokyo is bursting with fun this winter season as Disney characters welcome Christmas at the parks

The magnificent winter season has arrived, and the magical, fantasy-filled Tokyo Disney Resort is decked out in dazzling new finery. Towering Christmas trees glowing with vibrant multicolored lights stand in front of Cinderella Castle, radiating an aura of happiness, calling on Disney friends to come together and share the joy of Christmas, joyfully welcoming every magical moment in life and the upcoming new year.

Tokyo Disneyland is immersed in a sea of Christmas trees this year. Both major parks within the Tokyo Disney Resort, along with Disney hotels and other key facilities, are holding grand special events for the holiday season. The picturesque Tokyo DisneySea is once again hosting a themed event called “Harbor Christmas,” set against the backdrop of a port town. For the sixth consecutive year, the enchanting “Candlelight Reflections” will bring warm glow to the Mediterranean Harbor, marking a perfect finale this year. Tokyo Disneyland is also presenting a romantic and heartwarming special event titled “Christmas Fantasy.” In the newly launched parade “Holiday Wishes Parade,” guests can enjoy watching Mickey and Minnie gracefully ice-skating through snowy landscapes, Alice and her friends hosting a Christmas tea party, and many other delightful scenes of Disney characters celebrating the holidays.

During the Tokyo Disney Resort Christmas event period, three Disney hotels—the “Disney Ambassador Hotel,” “Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta,” and “Tokyo Disneyland Hotel”—will also hold uniquely themed special events to join in the festivities. The hotels’ restaurants have carefully crafted a variety of festive Christmas dishes and desserts, each one a visual and culinary masterpiece that takes guests on a journey for the eyes and taste buds. Surrounding the Tokyo Disney Resort, key facilities such as “Ikspiari,” “Cirque du Soleil THEATRE TOKYO,” the “Disney Resort Line,” and “Tokyo Disney Resort Official Hotels” are also adding colorful cheer to the season with dazzling Christmas decorations and captivating special events.

The joyful atmosphere, enhanced by a variety of exciting attractions, allows visitors to celebrate the Christmas season alongside Disney characters along snowy parade routes.
