Sold out in one hour — delicious return of Lady M’s new matcha series

Following the end of the strawberry season, Lady M is launching a brand-new matcha series. Capitalizing on Taiwanese foodies’ love for matcha, in addition to the store’s bestseller, the matcha mille crêpes cake, a new range of matcha desserts will be introduced on March 5, including the all-new “Matcha Chocolate Checkerboard Cake” and “Matcha Éclair,” making their debut across Taiwan, as well as the fan-favorite comeback item “Matcha Mousse Cake,” which once sold out within an hour.

The newly launched desserts “Matcha Chocolate Checkerboard Cake” and “Matcha Éclair,” available for the first time across Taiwan, not only feature a rich matcha flavor but also combine with other elements — the checkerboard cake blends in a hint of sweet chocolate, featuring a neatly layered checkerboard cross-section that makes for vibrant photos, while the éclair offers a crispy exterior with a soft inside, paired with a custard filling. Both items are exclusive to the flagship store.

The “Matcha Mousse Cake” is making a comeback — last year, it sold out within an hour of the store opening. It uses Japanese matcha blended into a proprietary ratio of matcha cream, paired with a melt-in-your-mouth matcha mousse, resulting in a smooth and richly aromatic texture. It is available exclusively at the flagship store.

In addition, Lady M is also releasing the “Banana Chocolate Mille Crêpes Cake” and “Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake.” The banana chocolate flavor combines locally grown ripe bananas with cocoa aroma, while the gluten-free chocolate cake is designed for those with gluten allergies or sensitivities — it contains no flour whatsoever, using only cocoa powder, whipped cream, and egg whites to create a light and fluffy texture.
