Lease expired — Jokei-tei Ramen takes a two-month break; reopening in March 2017

The renowned Japanese ramen shop Jokei-tei, which once won the title on Japan’s TV show “Iron Chef: Cooking Battle” and ranked among the top four in the TBS Menwang Competition as well as winning the TRY Grand Prix, opened its doors in Taiwan at the end of last year. However, its official Facebook page recently announced that the lease has expired and the store will only operate until January 1, 2017. The good news is that it will reopen on March 4, 2017, on the fourth floor of ATT 4 FUN in Xinyi District. Loyal customers will only have to wait two months before they can enjoy the signature black garlic sesame oil ramen again.

The highlight of Jokei-tei’s signature original flavor black garlic sesame oil ramen is the drizzle of seven-layer black garlic sesame oil. This oil is made by blending seven different layers of fried garlic in specific proportions, grinding them into powder, and then mixing it with sesame oil to create the rich black garlic sesame oil.
