Romantic scooter treasure hunt on Little Liuqiu, "dig" your way to her heart

As White Valentine’s Day approaches, besides dining out and giving gifts, would you like to offer something even more special for your loved one? Why not take advantage of the weekend holiday on March 13 and 14 to visit Little Liuqiu? Since the launch of the “2010 Happiness & True Love – Little Liuqiu” event by the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration, it has sparked widespread discussion and attracted many couples planning to tie the knot to visit Little Liuqiu for wedding photos and honeymoons. On the eve of White Valentine’s Day, Little Liuqiu has already been “booked” by 12 couples. The administration specially organized the “Romantic Scooter Treasure Hunt, ‘Dig’ Your Way to Her Heart” event on March 13. In addition to the engaged couples, five other couples were also invited to join in the fun, exploring the island together in search of treasures and soaking up the romantic Valentine’s vibe.

The Little Liuqiu Romantic Scooter Treasure Hunt event offers couples the chance to take memorable photos on the island, ride scooters of happiness, and sign “love contracts.” With the witness of the gathered crowd, they create records of their Little Liuqiu wedding and honeymoon year, as well as leaving behind the most genuine and joyful memories of their love. Couples will explore popular wedding photo spots on Little Liuqiu by scooter, including visiting Flower Vase Rock to see the island’s treasured landmark, strolling on the white sands of Clam Plate Bay, walking along trails to experience tropical vibes, admiring ships and fringing reefs from the White Lighthouse, marveling at the rugged rocks at Mountain Pig Gully, and chasing waves on Zhong’ao Beach.

A holiday plaza event is also taking place enthusiastically at Baisha Tourist Harbor. The program includes a romantic music concert, a wedding fashion show, and fun couple games such as KISS MY LOVE and LOVE HUG, filling the venue with a sweet and romantic atmosphere. To complement the “2010 Happiness & True Love – Little Liuqiu” event, local businesses on Little Liuqiu have launched a special “2769 Love to Liuqiu – Happy 2-Day Tour” package. Couples or lovers visiting Little Liuqiu on weekdays can enjoy the trip for just NT$2,769 per couple. This includes a ride on the Love Boat to Little Liuqiu, staying in a romantic double room, enjoying special local cuisine, and exploring the island by scooter.

Currently, a Little Liuqiu wedding photo spot voting campaign is also underway. On March 22, the “Love Puff Message” will kick off. By leaving sweet messages for your loved one, you could win great prizes such as luggage worth tens of thousands of dollars or cosmetic sets.
