This year’s Children’s Day falls during a three-day holiday, and theme parks and travel operators across Taiwan are launching family vacation packages and discount promotions. The LUCKY FARM Eco-Resort in Hsinchu’s Guanxi is now offering a “Primitive Exploration Holiday” trial stay package—children under 100 cm tall can stay for free and get up close with animals!

Since opening in February this year, the LUCKY FARM Eco-Resort in Guanxi has been beloved by families, offering a brand-new holiday experience that lets you get up close with animals and keep both kids and adults entertained. From April 1 to June 25, they’re launching the “Primitive Exploration Holiday,” which includes: one night’s stay for two in a Congo Blue Sky Room, two servings of a hearty breakfast, two servings of a Hakka-style dinner, and a choice of three exclusive themed activities (such as a retro bike ride along the Sankeng Green Corridor, a secret wildlife park exploration, a global adventure at LUCKY LAND, African mask face painting, and more). The “Primitive Exploration Holiday” features a series of specially designed activities for kids, such as African mask face painting, “Mighty Little Knight,” and “Happy Farm.” After observing the giant, colorful totemic masks in the hotel corridors, children can head to the Lion King playroom to create their own mini African masks with creative colors. Next, they can don stylish cowboy riding outfits and become mighty little knights, strolling through green jungle tunnels. Or they can enjoy the fun of planting vegetables with their own hands, getting close to nature by planting seasonal greens like water spinach, bok choy, lettuce, and sweet potato leaves, experiencing the rewarding feeling of self-sufficiency on the farm.

Taipei County’s ASPIRE Resort has also specially designed a “ASPIRE Happy Castle Stay Package” for families traveling during the Children’s Day holiday. Guests staying between April 2 and April 5 can bring children under 15 years old for free access to the indoor large inflatable slide amusement facility. The two air-pad installations now in place are themed around a “space base” descending from the sky and “Nemo’s Underwater Adventure Park” featuring clownfish, providing vibrant visual stimulation and challenges to ensure a lively and energetic Children’s Day.

The “ASPIRE Happy Castle Stay Package” costs NT$2,940 per room, including one night in an Earl Deluxe Twin Room, two servings of buffet breakfast, free entry to the ASPIRE Happy Castle, free use of the swimming pool/SPA, gym, table tennis, Wii, and other recreational facilities, as well as free parking. Guests can also purchase discounted tickets to attractions like Window on China Theme Park and LUCKY LAND, or explore nearby scenic spots such as Shimen Reservoir, Daxi Old Street, Shimen Mountain Hiking Trail, Guanxi, Beibu, and Neiwan.
