In response to “2010 Hong Kong Festival Year,” this year’s travel agencies are focusing on themed tours. For example, Skyhigh Travel and Cola Tours have packaged “Slapping the Little Person” experiences as group tours, allowing travelers to experience traditional Hong Kong culture, including slapping the little person, riding the Ding Ding tram in Central, and visiting Che Kung Temple. Lion Travel offers a rickshaw sightseeing open-top bus tour, offering a unique view of Hong Kong from about two stories above the ground. The 2-night, 3-day self-drive tour starts from HK$8,888, and also includes a round-trip Airport Express ticket.
The classic-styled Aqualuna junk boat
Cola Tours has specially packaged a 3-day, 2-night stay at W Hotel starting from HK$15,999, including a ride on the classic-style Aqualuna junk boat on Victoria Harbour. Climb aboard the traditional Chinese three-sail wooden boat for a gently swaying 45-minute journey — perfect for couples to experience together.
