The Skyliner express train takes you from Tokyo to Narita Airport in just 36 minutes.

Starting this July, Narita Airport has become even closer to Tokyo. Currently, whether traveling from Narita Airport to central Tokyo or vice versa, taking the train is the most convenient and fastest option. Train options include the JR Narita Express “Narita Express” and Keisei Electric Railway’s “Skyliner express train.” Keisei Electric Railway will launch its new “Skyliner express train” on July 17, capable of reaching speeds up to 160 km/h. This new express train is the third-generation Skyliner model, featuring a design that continues the bold concept of the previous generation, expressed through simple aesthetics and color choices.

The new “Skyliner express train” was designed by renowned Japanese designer Ken Okuyama, inspired by the concepts of “wind” and “dignity.” The concept of “wind” is used to convey a sense of speed and novelty, and the logo has also been updated to match this design theme. The new logo takes the first letter “S” of Skyliner and presents it in an exaggerated calligraphic style, while the letter “i” in Skyliner is highlighted in red. This symbolizes the Japanese airport express, the Skyliner, setting off once again toward the world.
