The world-renowned Shanghai World Expo has officially opened. This year, there are nearly 200 national pavilions, over 50 international organization pavilions, and 18 corporate pavilions, showcasing various perspectives on “the city” through concepts such as technology, environmental protection, and new lifestyles. Visiting the Expo is like touring the United Nations. From May 1 to October 31, in addition to viewing the architecture and various innovative facilities, joining a “summer camp” at the Expo has become an alternative way to travel.

The long-established education and study tour provider JuYang International, together with Yingjia International Travel Agency, jointly promote the "2010 Shanghai Expo 'American Live' International Summer Camp" event. In addition to theme-based English teaching, the program also includes Carnegie training courses, magic lessons and performances, DIY creative handicrafts, and art projects. The English summer camp includes students from Taiwan, the United States, Japan, Korea, and China. In this uniquely themed camp, participants can learn and express themselves freely. The itinerary will also take students to the Expo site to visit elaborately designed pavilions that showcase the culture and characteristics of various countries.
The "2010 Shanghai Expo 'American Live' International Summer Camp" will be held from July 7 to August 7, featuring two different itineraries. It takes place at Shanghai Oriental Land Earth Village, the largest youth extracurricular activity camp in China. Students are divided into different classes based on age group and English proficiency level. Through a variety of lively and fun activities, the program aims to enhance students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, while Carnegie training courses help develop leadership abilities.
This summer camp combines the hottest attraction of 2010—the Shanghai Expo—by taking students to visit pavilions from various continents and experience the beauty of the world. The curriculum is not limited to English learning but also incorporates highlights from different countries. Students from the United States also take Chinese courses here and participate in diverse summer activity classes with children from Taiwan.
