The Kenting Express is now in service, offering direct round-trip rides from Zuoying to Kenting for just NT$600.

Kenting boasts rich natural scenery, with beautiful vistas of green mountains, lush grass, blue skies, clear seas, coconut groves, and golden beaches that never fail to enchant. The newly launched "Taiwan Tourist Shuttle" transit bus — the Kenting Express — departs from Zuoying High-Speed Rail Station and stops at seven stations along the way: Dapeng Bay, Fangliao, Checheng, Nanbao Li, Hengchun, Nanwan, and Kenting, reaching Kenting in just 120 minutes. There are 10 daily services on weekdays and 12 on holidays, allowing travelers to easily access various tourist spots via seamless public transport and enjoy an affordable, relaxing holiday.

Travelers heading to Donggang Liuqiu can take the Kenting Express to Dapeng Bay Station and then transfer to the "Donggang Liuqiu Line," which runs through Donggang Town and goes directly to the ferry terminal for Liuqiu Island. The Dapeng Bay Scenic Area Administration has also introduced thoughtful, convenient full-service options. Visitors driving to Donggang can park their vehicles for free at the Dapeng Bay parking lot and then take the "Dongliu Line" to the ferry terminal, eliminating the hassle of finding overnight parking near the Donggang docks. The "Donggang Liuqiu Line" operates 11 round-trips between Dapeng Bay and Donggang Town on holidays from 08:30 to 18:40, and 4 trips on weekdays from 10:00 to 17:00.

The one-way fare for the Kenting Express from Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung to Kenting is NT$383, while the full fare for the Dongliu Line is NT$22. From now until June 30, the round-trip fare from Zuoying Station to Kenting is discounted to just NT$600, and the Dongliu Line is completely free to ride. With the ongoing "2010 Pingtung Black Marlin Cultural Tourism Festival," visitors are encouraged to use the time- and money-saving Kenting Express to explore various attractions in Pingtung. After cooling off with some water fun, enjoy a delicious meal of fresh, plump black marlin.
