Embrace the World: 2010 Hong Kong International Travel Expo Kicks Off

The 2010 Hong Kong International Travel Expo will run from June 10 to 13. The first two days, June 10 and 11, are open only to industry professionals and corporate visitors aged 18 or above, with tickets priced at HK$50. Free entry is available upon successful online pre-registration. The general public and tourists can purchase tickets at the entrance of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on June 12 and 13. Ticket prices are HK$20 and HK$10 respectively. Those who complete the online questionnaire on the event website in advance can enjoy a discounted ticket price of HK$5.
Entering its 24th edition, this year’s Hong Kong Travel Expo features over 600 exhibitors from nearly 50 countries and regions across Europe, America, Asia, and Africa. They will present fascinating travel information, stunning posters and displays, as well as booths with unique ethnic characteristics. There will also be numerous travel seminars and cultural performances. Attendees can directly inquire with exhibitors and may have the chance to purchase great-value travel packages. On-site entertainment activities such as lucky draws await, with attractive prizes including free flights and hotel stays.

New participants at the 2010 Hong Kong Travel Expo include Croatia, the United Kingdom, Prague, Ho Chi Minh City, Israel, Jordan, Slovakia, Poland, Armenia, Canada, Chile, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mexico, and a brand-new Geopark Theme Pavilion. Exhibition groups from Taiwan, Korea, China, and Macau have also expanded their presence this year. Other highlights include popular themes such as health and medical tourism, business incentive travel, and cruises, which will showcase new routes and products.
