2010 East & West Flower Valley Summer Romance Carnival – Collect stamps, enter lucky draws, and win plane tickets

The “2010 East & West Flower Valley Summer Romance Carnival” features a wide array of exciting events that will make it hard for visitors to choose just one, including the Summer Romance Carnival Concert, Indigenous Joint Harvest Festival, “Season of Flying” series, Thousand People Lie Down Taitung Tourism Carnival, Golden Needle Mountain Carnival, Liyu Lake Music Concert, Hualien Cycling Festival, Golden Valley Tour, Bike Happy Guanshan Tour, and Chishang Rice Country Bamboo Raft Harvest Culture & Art Series. This year’s Summer Romance Carnival concerts will be held at 16 large-scale venues including the Hualien Guanghua Lohas Creative Park, Fenglin Town Square, Guangfu Vocational School, and Yuli Sports Park, featuring performances by hundreds of artists and world-class aerial fireworks as the highlight. The Bike Happy Guanshan Tour will issue a bicycle town-experience passport, inviting the public to join a free-roaming challenge. Various paragliding shows, model aircraft competitions, and kite-flying performances in the “Season of Flying” series will also captivate visitors. From now until September 30, the public can participate in the lucky draw by making purchases within the area south of Hualien City and north of Taitung City, and stamping their lottery ticket with two business stamps (one from Hualien and one from Taitung) from participating shops, such as store stamps, invoice stamps, or event tickets. Prizes include DSLR digital cameras, premium folding SD bicycles, round-trip Hsinchu Airlines tickets between Taichung and Hong Kong, resort accommodation vouchers, and more. The event’s Travel Passport not only recommends attractions but also introduces themed entertainment, experiences, accommodations, dining, and local souvenir discounts—all available for free.
