This year, the “2010 Season to Fly” series of events, jointly organized by Taitung County Government and the East Rift Valley National Scenic Area Administration, will be held from July 24 to August 1 (a total of 9 days) at Luye Plateau. The event warmly invites everyone to explore Luye and enjoy the vast, cozy rural charm of Taitung!
The “2010 Season to Fly” series includes the Taitung County Tourism Carnival on July 24, the Thousand People Lie Down Green Tunnel, parent-child grass sledding, power bouncing, and rural life experience activities, as well as the most thrilling paragliding events and Beinan River rafting experiences. In addition, it combines agricultural products such as Fulu Tea and Fulu Rice from Luye Township and indigenous cultural activities, ensuring visitors have a fulfilling and enjoyable trip.
These thrilling high-altitude activities attract many adventure-loving individuals.
This summer in Hualien and Taitung is super fun. To boost summer tourism, a variety of events are actively being held. In addition to the Season to Fly activities, there’s also the Golden Needle Mountain Carnival, Carp Lake Music Festival, Huiwan Bicycle Festival Carnival, Cycling Fun in Guanshan, and Chihshang Bamboo Raft Harvest Festival. Moreover, it’s integrated with the cross-county “Taiwan Good to Go” campaign of Hualien and Taitung, aiming to attract more visitors to explore the beautiful mountains and waters of Hualien and Taitung through convenient transportation services.
