Since resuming operations in March this year, the Maokong Gondola has actively introduced a variety of new services, aiming to offer visitors a completely fresh experience. For the first time, it has also launched a range of brand-new Maokong Gondola merchandise, including T-shirts, handkerchiefs, phone charms, keychains, ID holders, shopping bags, and more. Featuring designs inspired by the Gondola and the pandas at the zoo, these items are cute and playful, winning the hearts of children. Enjoy a 10% discount when purchasing before August 8.
Summer is the peak season for riding the Maokong Gondola. To celebrate, the Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation has specially organized a photo contest: just wear any of the designated Maokong Gondola merchandise and take photos at any station—whether funny, joyful, or family shots—just dare to snap and upload, and you could be the star of the show. Additionally, entries submitted to the campaign website before midnight on August 8 will be eligible for online voting and a lucky draw. Participants have a chance to win cash prizes of NT$10,000, NT$5,000, and NT$2,500, plus a variety of other great rewards such as Taipei Melody tumblers, postcard sets, one-day Maokong Gondola tickets, card holders, and keychains.
