The largest street closure sale ever — Jackie Chan and Jolin Tsai join you for a stroll in Ximending!
Summer vacation is always the season for shopping discounts. Who says only department stores hold major sales events? The Ximending shopping district will host the largest-ever street closure sale, “Ximending Crazy Summer Festival,” from July 30 to August 1. Fifty popular stores and over 100 booths will come together for the event, and on the final day, Jackie Chan and Jolin Tsai will be invited to draw the grand prize: a motorcycle!

Ximending was named a Taipei Premium Shopping District in 2009. This year’s “Ximending Crazy Summer Festival” will take place on a closed-off Wuchang Street, divided into four zones: Trendy Sports, Leisure & Entertainment, Gourmet Dining, and Specialty Coffee. There will be special deals such as buy-one-get-one-free movie tickets, 50% off two items of sportswear, buy-one-get-one-free meals, and buy-one-get-one-free accessories. Customers can collect points from the flyer with every purchase to enter lucky draws for prizes including a motorcycle, hotel stay vouchers, and movie tickets — a rare opportunity not to be missed.

In addition to product sales, there will be a special “100 People in Yukata Strolling the Streets” event. For just a NT$250 registration fee, participants will receive one traditional Japanese yukata, a paper fan, six bottles of drinks, and get to join the lucky draw — immersing themselves in the atmosphere of a Japanese festival. Come to Ximending this holiday for great food, shopping, and fun!
