The 2018 Taiwan Lantern Festival officially kicked off on the night of the Lantern Festival, March 2, at the main lantern area in front of the Chiayi County Government in Taibao, Chiayi County’s Special Municipality Zone. The main lantern stands an impressive 21 meters tall and features a brand-new 4D refraction display using light grating sheet visuals. In addition to the main lantern area, there were also many colorful and stunning light displays that attracted numerous netizens and tourists to come and take photos.
