Luxury cruise ship SILVERSPIRIT proudly presents a world cruise journey

The first segment of the “World Cruise” will grandly depart from Los Angeles on January 20, 2011, heading to Papeete, the capital of Tahiti. During the 12-day voyage, guests will enjoy six days at sea with Silver Spirit’s luxurious facilities and services, before arriving at the most remote archipelago in French Polynesia—the Marquesas Islands. Silver Spirit will first call at Nuku Hiva, the main island, then proceed to Hiva Oa, shaped like a seahorse, which is the resting place of the famous painter Paul Gauguin and French singer Jacques Brel. The ship will then sail to Rangiroa, the largest atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago, to admire its vast turquoise lagoon, before visiting the sister islands of Moorea and Tahiti.

Guests joining any segment of the “World Cruise” will enjoy complimentary Silversea Experiences cultural excursions, such as Polynesian craft demonstrations in the Marquesas Islands; in-depth exploration of New Zealand’s history and Māori culture; attending an exclusive cultural evening at Melbourne’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Regent Theatre; opportunities for snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef; taking small boats to admire Ha Long Bay’s 3,000 limestone islets; experiencing the unique traditions and scenery of Kerala; and viewing the magnificent ancient monuments in Luxor, Egypt.

The entire 119-day “World Cruise” departs from Los Angeles and ends in Southampton.
